Dr Whittaker provided me with the best of care. He's very thorough and skilled in his craft. He was able to provide me with answers when no doctor in my hometown was able to. I'm extremely grateful to have found him and his team.

I was seen by Dr. Whittaker today, and it was a very pleasant experience. He is very knowledgeable about my condition and patient while explaining things to me. I didn't feel rushed whatsoever in the appointment. He took his time. He was personable with me, my partner, and our son. He made me feel at ease, and he has a great sense of humor. The nurse working with him was also very kind and patient.

Dr. Whittaker was the worst Dr I've ever seen. I was referred to him to have oversight of my eyes in conjunction with a brain condition I've had for 15+ years. I came with my extensive medical history of this condition for him to review/make copies of as needed and he gaslit me and shrugged off my symptoms because the hallmark sign of my disease (for my eyes). Even being a supposed expert in this illness I explained that this symptom probably would not be present because I've been well medicated and under great care with my neurologist. Still he shrugged me off, and lectured me on how the Cleveland Clinic came to my diagnosis. After leaving in tears he sent me to the front to check out and reschedule for 6 months later only for the front desk to tell me that he told them to not reschedule me because there was no need for me to be under the care of a neuro-ophthalmologist. In my 15+ years I've never had a Dr question a well documented diagnosis that is evident except for Dr. Whittaker. To make matters worse he has taught or mentored others in the area so I am always asked to rehash why I'm not under the care of "the best doctor they know". When I left my feedback with KU's survey system there was no follow up either. If you're looking to be ignored and gaslit then Dr. Whittaker is your guy, otherwise steer clear.

Dr. Whittaker is the most professional doctor that I have ever dealt with. He has made me understand my eye issues more than any other eye doctor I have seen. Top notch!

I seen Dr. Whittaker today. I was shocked that 99% of my visit was with the Dr. himself. He was amazing and explained everything to me. I wish we had Dr.s like him in the Branson area! Dr. Whittaker and his entire staff are the best ever!!!

KU eye clinic has become too big. Have graves ophthalmopathy last visit disconcerting about symptoms. Can't drive but Dr. Say you can see that good enough so drive! Really guess if I kill somebody on the road its ok...

I am highly impressed with Dr Whittaker! I've been going to him for several years now. He is so thorough and answers all of my questions.
