I was in this optometrist office just yesterday for my yearly exam for the first time. We came because Dr Wilmes is now in this practice. He is excellent and we are so glad that we found him back in Lawrence again! Dr Wilmes knows exactly what he's doing, he is excellent and quite knowledgeable in his field and is such a professional at what he does. He is also a personable guy and very easy to talk with. We've been going to Atteberry Eye Center for years and it's hands-down the best eye care experience in Lawrence. My wife and I wouldn't trust our eyes to anyone else! Dr. Atteberry is incredibly thorough, patient, and up-to-date on everything--he always takes the time to explain things clearly and never makes us feel rushed. Whether it's routine exams, updating contact lens or glasses prescriptions, or just answering random questions, we always leave feeling completely taken care of.
The staff is warm, professional, and genuinely happy to see us every time (it really feels like walking into a place where everyone knows your name). The office is spotless and modern, the equipment is top-notch, and the optical shop has a great selection with fair pricing and super helpful opticians.

I cannot recommend Atteberry more! I was so happy with the care I received and the choice of frames. Dr. Pearl was genuinely the nicest, most friendly and genuinely caring provider I've ever had.
