I had sudden eye pain and couldn't get ahold of anyone in Topeka. Either phones weren't being answered or the doctor wasn't in. This office answered on the first ring, genuinely wanted to help, and fit me in last minute on a short Saturday. Communication was excellent. The check-in process was simple, I was able to text a photo of my insurance and handle everything before I even arrived. The front desk staff were kind and efficient. The doctor was knowledgeable, quick, clearly explained his findings, and showed a genuine desire to help. Overall, it was a great experience. It's easy to see why their ratings are so high.

My daughter and I both went to Lawrence Family Vision Clinic and we saw Kevin K. Trummel, O.D. We've had nothing but great experiences here. Sometimes there's a bit of a wait to be seen, but honestly, there's a reason for that--they are thorough, they don't rush, and they truly care. On the "doctor side" (the exam/checking portion), the staff takes such great care of you. Dr. Trummel is the older brother (his younger brother is also an optometrist there), and he is always professional but incredibly warm. He always has a smile on his face and creates such a calm, welcoming environment. He was especially talkative, patient, and reassuring with my daughter (she's 8), and I could tell she felt comfortable and safe the entire time. I felt the care we BOTH received was genuinely exquisite. The front desk staff is kind and organized, and the glasses/optical side has great people as well--they help you find what looks good and make sure you walk out feeling confident. My family has been going here for countless years and we don't plan on leaving. Highly recommend.

This business is exceptionally friendly. I enjoy that I can joke and laugh with them And this by no means takes away from there knowledgeable employees. It was a very relaxing helpful experience. My doctor was very thorough, and spoke in terms I could understand. I felt seen, and very cared for. I am new to the area, but this group of people made me feel like I was at home. I recommend them to anyone serious about being respected and treated with their knowledge and professional care.

Dr. Kenny and his staff are truly exceptional. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and genuinely invested in you--not just as a patient, but as a person. I'm always impressed by how quickly they're able to get me in whenever I'm dealing with a vision issue or a problem with my contacts. If you're looking for a top-notch vision clinic, look no further.

Sharon Green is the rudest person I've ever met. Go anywhere else but here. There's so many other incredibly kind eye doctors in Lawrence. Update: I went in with a friend for her visit. Sharon was anything but friendly, but my friend had read so many of these great reviews about her. Yet when we were there, we were approached with anything but. She seemed annoyed and rushed the entire visit. My friend was already so anxious about seeing a new provider and this proved that no amount of google reviews really determines the true character of a person until you meet them.

As always a very pleasant experience. The staff is always friendly. Dr. Trummel is, as always, fantastic. He always remembers and asks about where I work, which I'm sure he does with all his patients.

Great eye doctors and friendly office staff! I would highly recommend LawrenceFamily Vision Center, and Dr. Green in particular. She's extremely competent and thorough and takes her time making sure you're comfortable with your vision concerns.
