Dr Hickman is the best Doctor I ever seen. He is super knowledgeable and professional, patient to listen to my concerns and willing to explain to me the medical terms, always has empathy. The entire team in the office are super nice, patient, and helpful.

Dr. Scott Hickman and his staff were a genuine joy to interact with throughout my entire procedure of cataract removal and sight adjustment, and I'm very happy with the results I received. At 78 I can now drive without corrective lenses, and need readers only for close work. I would unreservedly recommend Ad Astra Eye to anyone needing the medical services they provide.

Thanks to Dr. Hickman and the adjustable procedure I am now able to see spring in a new light, A light with spectacular clarity. I can read again without having to bend my neck in a position that causes harm to my back. I was referred to Dr. Hickman last year when my optometrist discovered my recent vision loss was due to cataracts and that I would need surgery in both eyes. At 36yrs old this came as quite a disappointing surprise, however, after just my first meeting with Dr. Hickman I felt at ease knowing I would be in good hands. They were able to walk me through this process, guide me in the right direction to help me make educated decisions about my care and subsequently provided me with outstanding care and attention every step of the way. Dr. Scott Hickman and his entire staff are above and beyond in terms of excellence. They're all kind, professional and efficient. He used the Light Adjusting Lens with his RxSight machine and brought my vision back to 20/20 in both eyes. I haven't had perfect vision as long as I can remember and I'm 65 years old. Dr. Hickman takes his time to explain everything with you and he answers all of your questions. He's very kind, knowledgeable and professional. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Hickman and his entire office staff to anyone who needs cataract surgery. I, also, HIGHLY recommend the Light Adjusting Lens.

Dr Hickman along with his staff was very helpful, nice, and professional. He was very patient during all my questions and concerns...even during my surgery (when although I was doped up.. I can remember being told to be quiet). I was very surprised that I never felt any pain. I had no complications and everything went great. I can see nearly perfect out of my right eye (which my whole life has always been my weaker). In a few weeks my husband will be having both eyes done by Dr Hickman. Thank you Dr Hickman. Dr Hickman and his staff were wonderful. I had my cataracts replaced with adjustable light lens. Dr Hickman adjusted the lens for distance (20/20) and reading. The Monovision is working great. I would recommend. His staff was very caring and professional also. I would recommend Dr Hickman to all who need special eye surgery and care!
