Peggy is extremely rude, disrespectful and insensitive. I was recommended by multiple people to this place, so I was excited to call to schedule my daughter's first appointment. Peggy answered every question I had with a negative tone and comment. Disregarding my concerns and completely unhelpful, to the point I had to hang up the phone and DEFINITELY will not be calling back, nor going there or recommending them to anyone. That is not a way to treat a potential new client.
Dr. Koederitz and the staff were so kind, caring & helpful. Great at communicating. I had adult strabismus surgery and my only wish was that I did it sooner. Dr Koederitz is the only adult strabismus specialist in the KC area and it was worth the hour and half drive to see her. Thank you so much for the great care! Highly recommend.
Our son is 6, and we've seen Dr. Koederitz since he was a baby. She recently performed a minor surgery on his eyelid. Her staff was friendly and made our son feel at ease (Joe was very funny). Dr. Koederitz called US the next day (a Saturday) to see how things were going. What doctor does that anymore?! We continue to be very impressed and would recommend her to anyone. Thanks, Dr. Koederitz, for the care you and your staff show to your clients.
My daughter has seen Dr. K for years! We love her. Her staff is wonderful as well. They are all great with kids. Highly recommend
Everyone has been super helpful, and gone beyond without being asked which hasn't been my experience with many other doctors in town.
We were referred by our son's pediatrician when he was 3 weeks. The nurse triaged the symptoms with us and the pediatrician to save us a visit. She recommended booking at 6 months old since the issue may clear on its own. Everyone was nice and the exam was fun for the baby since she used toys and other kid friendly items to assist with his exam. We were given options for further treatment and all expected costs before we left. When the issue did resolve on its own, when I called to cancel the receptionist double checked his chart right then that there was no other need for follow up. Most physicians offices make us wait for a call back from the nurse so I appreciated them being mindful of our time.
If any of our kids have eye or vision issues again we will be back!
Dr. Koederitz and her staff are amazing. Doc performed surgery on my left eye to correct my adult strabismus and I'm very thankful to Doc. She is very caring and nice.
My daughter is autistic and non-verbal. After multiple attempts with optometrists we were referred by a friend to SPECS. I almost cried at the first appointment when Dr Koederitz was able to do an exam. She's patient but persistent and she's very resourceful. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr Koederitz, especially if you have a child with special needs
Dr Koederitz was so amazing with my 2-year old son today that he cried all the way home because he wanted to stay in her office a little bit longer. Highly recommended!
