My husband and I like Dr Toon; she is kind, thorough and I appreciate how well she explains the exam results. Unfortunately her husband, who is also her receptionist, is incredibly unkind. He has poor listening skills and behaves irrationally. He exhibits clear red flag behavior both over the phone and in person. It's unfortunate a talented optometrist will lose patients due to his unprofessional behavior.

Julie Toon is great! She is very professional and does a good job of walking a client through an appointment.
Unfortunately, her office admin (also her husband) is very rude and codensceding. I walked into my appointment with him being unkind to Julie and also cursing. I will unfortunately no longer be using them as an optometrist, though I do love Julie.

Dr. Toon was very friendly and outgoing. Her and her husband ( who is the first person that you meet) were so very nice. They also had their dog there, a big, beautiful German Shepard that is a therapy dog. I usually dread going eye appointments, I just don't feel comfortable at them, but Dr. Toon and her husband put me at ease. It was by far the best eye exam I've ever had. They are so friendly and caring. I will definitely will be going back when it's time for the next exam.

I didn't even see Dr. Toon for an appointment, but her husband was standing outside of Target watching me and my husband. I had major back surgery 2.5 weeks ago and my husband picked me up right in front of Target. My husband was making sure I was in the car and felt okay. Scott (Dr. Toon's) husband was yelling at my husband that the cart doesn't belong there! Telling my husband that it will blow away and hit another car. Scott was being so rude. My husband was going to drive out of the way since we were parked up front, and go return the cart. Who is Scott? The cart narc?? Looks really bad for your wife's business!
