Dr. Paul D. Weishaar, MD

Dr. Weishaar is a great dr. but his office is not his friend!!! Can't keep a schedule for a year out. When I needed a refill and called, I was toklld they would call in a prescription. Tho days later I go to get medicine and nothing has been called in!!! When I called them they tell me I have to have Ann appointment and wouldn't refill without coming to see the Dr. first. I live out of town so this was a big inconvenience!!! They should have notified me of my yearly appointment, they didn't. They should have notified me I needed an appointment for a refill,they didn't!!! They could have called inbox a script when I made an appointment, they didn't!!! But somehow it's my fault I guess. Think they're priorities are a little off!!!!

I've been taking my mom here for her eye shot for several months now, and every time we end up waiting for *hours*. I think the fastest we've been in and out was an hour and a half.. Why are you asking us to come in TWO HOURS before you will be ready for her?? We have lives, too! I have to take an entire afternoon off work for this, and she sees the doctor maybe a total of 15 minutes?? Make it make sense!

Dr. Weishaar is an exceptional dr. However his CRA named Kevin is unbelievable. When taking images of my mother's vision he became frustrated when she didn't comprehend what he was asking of her. Considering there is a language barrier I, went ahead and stepped in to help guide her from the chair behind her. Since my mom has blurred vision, finding the green dot was a hard task. Kevin began to hugggh, hhhmm & said firmly "Does shenot see the green dot" after asking my mother and her finding it. She was able to keep her eye on it. Him still having trouble with the imagescontinued to mope. Following her right eye my mother couldn't adjust her head properly on the monitor and that's when he Firmly and Roughly tugged at her hair and head. To which made me get up immediately and state to him, "I will help her so you don't continue to get Frustrated", he dismissed what I said and stayed quiet. He then tries to soften his voice and be polite after this moment. We are very patient women, however I'm posting this review so the public knows to be cautious with their loved ones. Especially if they do not speak English, Kevin is very rough and was out of line! I will definitely be reporting him during this office visit. He made this visit go south with his actions and behavior. Kevin should look for another job if he is dissatisfied because patience is key and he has ZERO patience.

Wichita & the surrounding areas that Dr. Weishaar serves is very blessed to have him here. Dr. Weishaar helped me through several difficult eye emergencies. He saved my vision on at least 2 occasions and is the most kind & compassionate doctor I've ever seen.

This is a well established Eye Doctor clinic full of professionals! I started going to this clinic as a young child for my sister who needed Eye care. Then I needed immediate eye care and Dr. Weishaar was awesome! One of the best Doctors I have ever known! Kind, Caring for his patients!

I have the upmost respect for Dr. Weishaar and his staff. I see him in this Wichita office and Garden City. Because of him my eyesight has been preserved.
