Howard's Optical Dispensary

I have been wearing glasses since 2001 and have used a few different places to buy my eye wear. I got a new script and glad I walked into Howards optical on West 13th in Indian Hill. I was greeted by the staff and the owner Mark who personally helped fit my new glasses. The years of service he has provided showed in his skills of fitting my new glasses. The new glasses were amazing, the fit and finish are awesome, and the lens are the biggest part. They were a little fuzzy for about 2 days as my eyes were adjusting to them. They are HANDS DOWN the best pair of glasses I have ever owned. They are so very clear, it is so hard to explain how clear everything looks. Well worth the money. Thank you to Mark and the 2 ladies who helped me that day, you all are the best. Your eye wear is an investment into seeing the world around you, invest wisely.

I visited Howard's Optical on 13th and was greeted by Eva, who somehow manages to be smart, helpful, and approachable -- a rare combination in retail. She gave me space to browse, which I truly appreciated. On my first visit, I bought sunglasses. When I returned to pick them up, I found another pair I apparently couldn't live without. Self-discipline was absent, but insurance cooperated. Naturally, I left with two pairs. When I picked them up, Vicki (hope I got her name right) noticed something I hadn't. She's the kind of honest friend who won't let you leave looking misaligned -- and she actually fixed it. Most stores would have just handed them over. No hidden fees. No pressure. Just smart, straightforward guidance. Howard's Optical is lucky to have Eva and Vicki. Owner, give them a raise, a day off, or at least a nice lunch. They've earned it.

Local businesses are the best! Had a pair of glasses broken beyond repair. Howard's solved the problem and 15 minutes later I was walking out the door. Many thanks to Jodee and Eva!

I recently had 3 pair of glasses made through Howards at 2513 w. 13th. There were a couple of mix ups, none serious, but Vicky (one of the opticians) went above and beyond in helping solve the problem. She was very personable and dedicated, going above and beyond in helping me. In addition, she.talked to Mark who owns Howards; he had me come to his state of the art lab, where he fixed the issue and gifted me with a bonus pair of glasses. Their dedication to their customers is so refreshing in this day and age. A hearty Thank You to them both!

I work as a medical interpreter and get sent here for work from time to time and the service they provide all of their patients is absolutely amazing. They are the nicest people and have so much patients even with the elders who have a hard time understanding or responding. Always very professional, establishment is always clean and have a huge variety of products. One of the friendly staff I have met

I am unfortunate, I am on Medicaid And disability. In philadelphia where I'm from my cousin was Nice enough to buy me a pair of Oakley frames, I gave the frames to howard's in Indian hills shopping CTR. And they refused to make The glasses because Medicaid only pays 190.00 and he said that The cost is 290.00 which is over The payout from Medicaid, The owner (Linda charmchizadeh and her husband hedi- same last name, denied they are The owners and said due to the strength of my prescription they would make them fit in the frames. A" Mark" got on the phone and Said we are here for profit And further accused me of stealing The Oakley frames because we are on Medicaid. This is rotten and nasty business practice when you can't even admit your The owner. They claim they deal with high end clients and need to go to someone more appropriate for your situation? They were nasty from the start and messed up my frames somehow and now threw us on walmart for poor people, they made me feel like I don't belong in society and i recommend you don't patronize these people,
