I explained to them I didn't want anything except what insurance covered, I was charged 35 for a contact fitting. After my second pair of contacts were uncomfortable they were very rude and told me they had no other types of contacts for me to try. They pushed and pushed for me to buy frames. When I left, they called a few days later asking if I was going to purchase frames from them. Long story short. They're salespeople. They charged for a contact fitting and then acted as though trying more than 2 sets was not an option. Then they called when I didn't get my frames from them.

Love Dr. Pirotte, but the optical department is horrible. My son got a new prescription on Nov. 3rd. It is now the 30th and I have no glasses. I have contacted them multiple times and asked that Amanda, the head of that department contact me, to no avail. Finally got to talk to her and she was less than friendly. I called again today, and was told there was a problem with the lenses. No communication from their end to let me know the glasses were no where near ready. Definitely taking my business elsewhere!

In the last year and a half I have had NOTHING but excellent experience with CF Eye care. I have gotten my glasses no problem with any ever issues. Now I have finally transitioned to contacts and again: NO COMPLAINTS! Affordable prices for contacts, and great customer service! Would absolutely recommend to anyone!!

Have had a wonderful experience with Dr Pirotte and all the staff at child and family eye care! We were referred there because my second grader was falling further and further behind in reading and we thought he may have an eye problem like dyslexia. I had no idea the range of eye problems and how they can effect reading. My son actually is not dyslexic but has different eye problems that were never picked up on any of his previous eye exams at other Dr's offices because it's not nearsightedness or farsightedness or astigmatism or any of the things you normally think of as eye problems. He now has special glasses to wear at school to help relax his eyes and we are in vision therapy twice a week to correct the problems he has. He is already becoming more confident at reading and is progressing nicely. All the staff I have been in contact with have been extremely helpful. I can call them any time I have questions or problems and it is so easy to have his glasses checked or adjusted, just come in and sign the check in sheet and they see you in minutes! Since we spend so much time there I also have to comment on their waiting area which has a great kids play area well as a more comfortable area for adults to sit within sight of their kids and it's always stocked with coffee and water. The most important thing I think is the fact that Dr Pirotte and his team can screen and treat vision problems affecting reading performance that most other Dr's in the area can't. If your smart kid is having trouble reading and is falling behind don't wait to have him or her checked by Dr Pirotte! My sister-in-law is a special ed teacher for visually impared children and she knows several other families who have also been through eye therapy with Dr Pirotte's staff with wonderful results. I'm so glad we caught it while my child still loves reading and writing!

They are so welcoming and make you feel valued as a patient! Dr. Vu is extremely knowledgeable and fun to work with as I'm sure are the other doctors.

absolutely the greatest experience I have ever had at any sort of doctor office the staff was amazing with my son and I and they treated us great they are extremely knowledgeable and know how to break down what they are doing into simple terms
