I had such a wonderful experience at Stanton Optical! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with friendly smiles and genuine care. The staff was incredibly professional, patient, and attentive, making sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. My eye exam was thorough and easy to understand, and they took the time to explain my options without any pressure. What really stood out was how smoothly everything went -- from picking out frames to getting my glasses ready. The selection was great, the prices were fair, and the service was top-notch. I left feeling confident, happy, and excited to wear my new glasses. Thank you, Stanton Optical in Wichita, for going above and beyond. I debated on whether or not to post this, but ultimately people should know. Me and my spouse came in for the 2 for 89$ deal with a free exam, we called and made sure we could get seen for our exam and were told yes. Then my spouse was able to get stuff done but not me because my prescription was "too complicated" and I needed to be seen by the doctor who wasn't there. Also when my spouse went to get stuff they told him AFTER the exam he didn't qualify for 2/89 because his prescription was "too complicated" and had to pay 129. I had to come back days later to get seen by doc, then I picked glasses out and was done. Then came to pick up my glasses which were INSTANTLY blurry, I immediately told them and they said that's NORMAL!! I said this isn't right and was told "wear them for a few days while your eyes adjust" trying to give the benefit of the doubt I did. A few days later I called said it was too bad, had to come in AGAIN because "my prescription" might need to be tweaked by doc. Came in saw him, said my prescription is fine and it doesn't make sense, he took my glasses back and saw they were out has READING glasses "+" when I need far "-". Whoever cuts the glasses needs to be properly trained, this is CRAZY, and instead of the associates saying it's "normal" they should look further into it. My spouse had the SAME issue difference being his were cut wrong. When everything finally got sorted out the representative "Bruce" did apologize for everything and gave us free cleaning kits for our trouble, but this situation is ridiculous and should've never happened. I've been to many eye please similar and have NEVER experienced this. The person who cuts the glasses should receive proper training and have work double checked and the representatives one name "Ryun" and the other female I don't remember her name I believe started with an "L" should've brush off customers who say something is wrong. The doctor and the tech were both wonderful which is why I'm giving two instead of 1 starts, also I appreciate Bruce apologizing.

Staff was amazing but the marketing is deceiving. It says 2 for $79 with an exam but first of all, the options they have for that with the glasses are atrocious. They use a bait and switch ripoff to get people in And offer the ugliest glasses to people doing the deal so they end up buying some. Be careful. Then I was told I was "too blind" to get the 2 for $79 deal so I ended up getting only 1 pair that was not in that section and a discount code for 60% off was used and I still paid $212.

Sorry my appointment interrupted the doctors lunch break, myself and the person that got there before me had to wait over an hour to be seen for a 2 minute exam. Those time slots should be blocked out if he can't handle waiting for the only two people with appointments that day. Seems like he doesn't really value people's time. Huge props to the receptionist/tech who seems to be more competent than the doctor.

They didn't let me know what my vision was they just started trying to help me hurry up and pick out some glasses frames to get me to buy something then they told me all the frames were half price but charged me $240! Complete rip off .SCAM ALERT! They did the same to my father! And his glasses don't even fit on his head! Stay away ! All their frames are from china they are literally $5 frames they sell for $200 complete trash!

My glasses broke and I needed new ones ASAP. They were able to get me in and get new glasses all in like 2 hours. They were all super nice and made everything really easy and stress free. I went back in the next day to get some adjustments made that I didn't notice were needed at first and they made them with no problem at all. Was pretty cheap too, everything came out to under $170 with no insurance.

Hello My name is Joe I my self am very pleased with the service I received from the stanton optical team. I had been going to green vision for about 11.5 years and there was always an issue with my glasses I would take them back and the glasses had no change just a lot of rebuttaling from the staff. So I would just tuff it out. Then I decided to try stanton optical The eye exam was free. The Lady that first helped me was very nice and helpfull I ended up getting 2 pairs when I got them in I had no complaints or issues Best 2 pairs of glasses I've ever had hands down. Also I had bought 2 Diffrent pairs of polorized sunglasses from Green vision and both had issues with the left lens I took them back a few times I just kept getting the run around like it was just because my stigmatism in my left eye was so bad. They could never get it right So Since Stanton opitical did such a great job for me the first time I decided to give them a try for my polorized Glasses I took both pairs in an had them put new lenses in them I picked them out. one pair got broke during shipping but they STEPPED UP AND THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS OVER THE TOP. THE YOUNG LADY THAT HELPED ME GET MY NEW LENSES TOGATHER WAS GREAT. I ENDED UP GETTING 2 OF THE BEST PAIRES OF POLORIZED SUNGLASS EVER I even sent My son there they treated him the same Thanks Stanton optical TEAM keep up the great work thanks. 7/21/25 Just an update on the POLORIZED GLASSES ALL I CAN SAY IS GREAT GREAT GREAT ! NO ISSUES THEY GET USED ALOT MAN I CANT THANK YOU GUYS ENOUGH . THANKS AGAIN !

I dont write reviews. Im just pissed because I took time off work and they wouldn't take my Insurance " vsp". I just wanted to replace my lost glasses. The guys last night insisted that I do the eye exam so they scheduled me for today at 3. The young girl stated that my vsp Insurance was not in there network. I was going to pay cash. I didn't even want to run my Insurance. So if you are a city employee. Dont waste your time. They dont take our Insurance
