Visionworks Maize Road

Maize Road location is beautiful and clean. The manager is dedicated Third Key is vital to retain. The individual who originally helped me was part time and does not appear to have the skills or intent to do things right the first time. When my order came in the store hours were changed since she left. Starting 17th of January when I had to go get lens redone the store went back to normal. When you come from over an hour away you shouldn't have to drive to door to see hours changed. Perhaps Visionworks' upper management should ask dependable employees why they are so dependable and value that! Rehiring people that don't do things right the first time, cutting hours and pay, & putting managers on salary & expect 12+ hours/per without breaks shows you don't value your people which trickles down to customers. I admire current Manager and Third Key people! They get for dedication & reliability & customer service. I understand we are in a time where finding reliable help is difficult but they shouldn't have to hire bad help in order to have time off.

If there was a ZERO option or a negative number that would be more reflective of the experience that this has been. My husband went in on 12/20/25 to order glasses. My pair i was paying out of pocket but my husband's pair was being processed under insurance that expired at the end of the year. So hence the reason to get them ordered. We were provided service by Jorge Chavez associate number 100484 and he stated that he merged everything together and provided me a receipt for my purchase. Never did I think that I should check this associates work. Especially since we were the only ones in the store a week before Christmas. I guess that should have been a sign. Well fast forward to last week 1/7/26 on Wednesday to account for the 2 holidays that had occurred. I called to check status on our glasses and the same associate jorge Chavez associate number 100484 Told me my pair had arrived and he was just inspecting them and I would get a text message when they are ready for pickup. So I said ok. Then I asked him to check the status of my husband's glasses that were ordered on the very same day. He replied yes his have shipped but haven't been received yet. So not thinking about it that evening I didn't question him about my husband's glasses. So fast forward once again to 1/12/26 my husband's goes into the store to check status of his glasses. To find out that we have been dealing with a fraudulent establishment. This associate jorge Chavez took our money and stated that it was for 2 pairs of glasses. But instead he didn't place my husband's order at all. Now that it now 2026 his vision benefits have expired. I went in tonight to show my receipt and this very same associate was working. There was no one else to log a complaint with. But the frustrating part is he stated that he must of made a mistake 2 or 3 times. Countless lies. 1-Telling us the cost for glasses when who knows if my costs were correct. 2- Telling me on the phone that my husband's order was shipped but not delivered when he NEVER ORDERED THEM OR EVEN APPARENTLY DID HIS JOB. 3- Then when I go into the store tonight he could not give a crap about how many mistakes that he has done as he doesn't have to be accountable for his actions. 4- he even verbally abused me and cussed at me. When he is the wrong on so many levels. 5- don't use this place unless you want to scammed and lied to. 6- he claims everyone makes mistakes but that's way too many mistakes for my liking. All lies with this place. 7- then he had his girlfriend hanging out at the counter waiting for him to get off work. So why work with you can mess around at work. It would be different if this establishment wanted to fix there mistakes and fix the wrongs that there employee did. But the major problem is this employee didn't have any care or concerns that he screwed multiple things up. It's like easy come easy go. He still has a job to lie and defraud more people. I guess that is a win in his book. I understand that not everyone is perfect but he didn't take accountability for anything. Explain how this situation could be fixed. Or even give me a an apology for all the countless lies. He has glasses and he still can't read to place an order for people or even see who's order he is checking status on. Pretty worthless and pathetic.

Visited this location and the guy working asked what we were in for and we said new glasses. And them he said "ok" and went back to scrolling on his cellphone sitting in his chair!! lol Never once got up and asked us one question or offered help. We left and went down the road to another eyeglass place.

I love this store. I had a great experience here in selecting my new glasses. They are fast and efficient.

Service was great, exam was great, Whitney was great to work with, ordering frames was easy and the lady was informative and saved us money by ordering the correct lens for my application.

I showed up at 5:20 (they close at 6) and was warmly welcomed and felt no pressure to browse frames for my son's new prescription. Jorge was great and worked on a customer profile and insurance while my son and I shopped. We found a pair, and were checked out efficiently. First time customer and so far impressed - the facility is very new, clean and modern. Prices with insurance seem fair (we normally use Costco out-of-pocket with out-of-network reimbursement), and total price here with an added warranty came to a very similar price point.

Visionworks Eye is a great place to search for and buy frames. The staff there is so helpful and patient. They help you find great glasses or let you depending on your druthers. Super friendly to all types, and knowledgeable. This place wants you to have a good experience and does their best to make it so.

The Sales Associate went over and beyond to aid and assist! I recommend Vision Works for your eye care needs!!!!
