My exam was a good experience. The wait time was reasonable. Dr. Patel and her staff were very friendly and answered my questions regarding caring for my dry eyes. We also discussed early stage cataracts that are part of my diagnosis. I will need surgery at some point in the future. The clinic is going through renovations. I can tell it's going to look fantastic. I like the color choices. They are calming.

Dr. Patel does extensive testing each appointment to stay on top of my eye health. She explains everything that she sees and her concerns about future developments. She's informed about new technology and has introduced me to very helpful dry eye therapy. She's easy to understand and is good at explaining any procedures that could be helpful in our eye care routine. The staff is efficient and try to keep the various stations of testing, moving quickly. They are all very nice and do their best to answer questions about any of the tests. The office visits leave you satisfied that you are under very professional care.

I so appreciate Dr. Patel's expertise and the relationship we've built over the years. I always feel I'm getting extremely thorough care. However, I find the three plus hours excessive for an annual visit. I believe I waited over an hour from the stated time of my appointment, and that wait is typical, which is quite costly for the patient to give up a half day to be seen. I also was quite taken aback to find that a two procedures were done without any discussion with me prior to the procedure. I read about them when I got home and was able to read my paperwork. It doesn't sit right with me that I wasn't aware until after the fact. I just called the office to discuss this and was told by the person I spoke with that I did sign paperwork about the procedures at the end of my visit. This also doesn't sit right with me, especially since my eyes had been dilated and I couldn't read what I was signing. I'm sad to say that this is really impacting how I feel about my care, leaving me feeling very uneasy and sad to be in the position of raising my concern when it could have just been easily discussed during my visit with Dr. Patel.

Dr. Patel was amazing. She was honest with me about not being a good candidate for LASIK. To me, it wasn't about the money it was about what was best for the patient and that is what makes a great doctor. So thank you! Looking forward to continue working with her to help heal some other conditions and maybe have lens replacement done someday!

Absolutely love Dr Reena Patel and WVI. I have been a patient for over 10 years and wouldn't consider going anywhere else. The staff is always friendly and efficient, and Dr Patel takes her time to thoroughly explain treatment and options and will go out of her way to work with you if she can because she understands and cares about her patients.

Good help but I was told I need to come in for pictures before see Dr next. Drive 1 hour to office and was told they only need a couple pictures on one machine. That is crazy. I feel like they need to do pictures and visit with Dr. at same time. If only doing one picture see about waiting till need others. 2 hours driving 30 min wait to be seen for maybe 5 minutes...

Sunday morning I thought I might have a detached retina and left Dr. Patel a message. She promptly returned my call and arranged to see me the next day. During my appointment on Monday, which was extremely thorough, she was able to determine that it wasn't a detached retina. I can't thank her and her staff enough for their attention to details.
