Worst eye dr I have ever spoke with. Rep named Lindsey stated they do not have anyone there who verifies patients insurance so they have to call their insurance carrier to see if the drs there are in network then once you go to make an appt Lindsey hung up! Lazy worked under staffed dumb and obviously don't have the funds to operate as a business so unprofessional and slow as hell !!

My experience with Dr Clemons was very poor. Went to get an exam after my vision had deteriorated. She did the exam, made me a prescription and gave me a list of ways to keep my eyes clean and clear. The prescription did not help my vision very much at all, so I went back a few months later. Clemons re-examined me, said I didn't follow her instructions from the previous visit (I had, to the letter) and did not change my prescription, telling me her initial exam and follow-up showed I needed the same strength glasses/contacts. I again ordered what she said I needed, and it did not help. She seemed more concerned with telling me why she was right all along instead of diagnosing the cataracts which were destroying my vision. My subsequent eye Dr cared enough to listen, and the last year of poor vision could have been avoided, as Dr Mary Catherine Clemons should be.

Dr Clemon's was not friendly. I felt rushed and was not given any advice on my cataracts.
My first prescription for bifocals was wrong, had to go back and she re-examined me And gave me a new prescription for bifocal glasses and these are not working either. Now I think it might be my cataracts causing my vision issues. I have tried to get my medical records but their Patient Portal is useless, no medical records are on there.
I have been to allot of doctors over my lifetime and have never had such a terrible experience. I won't be going back EVER!!!

Mary Clemons is fantastic! She worked very well with us as concerned parents and with our son. The office and staff are great as well.
Update and review adjustment:
The bill was much more than previously discussed. If you're not finding issues, stop running tests and ringing up the bill. This is abhorrent, predatory behavior and your billing person is condescending and rude.

I wish I would have read these reviews before I set up an appointment and wasted time/money with them. So I get called back and the nurse ( I guess ) who measured and dilated my eyes, she was super sweet. Although when it was time to take my contacts out she just handed me a contact case. She didn't offer me a mirror, hand washing station, nothing. Fast forward to the eye exam with Clemons. She rushed through my exam and was impatient, which I'm not used to. Every doctor I've ever been to has been considerate. Not her. When we wrapped things up she also didn't offer me a hand washing station to put my contact back in, I had to ask her myself and she just pointed to a dark sink in the corner of this room which there wasn't even paper towels to my hands or a mirror to see what I was doing. I literally had to dry my hands with Kleenex and she watched me do all of this. I've had better care at Walmart and Target Optical than at this place. Just go somewhere else if you're considering this place. Will not be returning next year or ever again for an eye exam,

The only good thing i can say is my mom got cataract surgery and i got glasses. I haven't had a good interaction with Dr. Clemons senior or junior. My elderly mother saw the senior Clemons and was incredibly dismissive and impatient with her. Her staff was also impatient with her and did not help with her mobility issues. I saw the younger Clemons for my own eye care and she had the bedside manner of a tarp and was also dismissive and disinterested. In both cases we felt like we were just in a revolving door and they had no time to answer our questions or show us a basic level of concern or interest. I miss Dr. Rucker and Texada. No plans to return.

My wife and I were patients of Dr. Bruce Henderson for years until his untimely passing. Most recently, I had an appointment with Dr. Boyd. She was customer friendly and took time to explain the reason for my eye problems, i.e. Cataracts. She set me up for a July consultation with Dr. Guy, who will perform the surgery in the near future.

Bad experience, will NOT go back. I brought my elderly mother to see Dr. Carol Clemons MD. Dr. Clemons has a ZERO "bedside manner" and was thoughtless and insulting in her words to my mother. Definitely not someone I want to give our hard earned money for when there are so many others to choose from.
