Walmart Vision & Glasses

I had an incredible experience at this clinic and wanted to share just how impressed I was. I called the same day to make an appointment and was lucky enough to get a single opening that afternoon. From start to finish, everything was smooth and efficient; I was able to check in, complete paperwork, and be seen by the doctor all within an hour. The clinic is conveniently located inside the Walmart on Shreveport-Barksdale, and the staff is truly exceptional. Every team member I encountered was friendly, kind, and genuinely helpful. The two staff members working in the front optical shop area, along with the doctor's assistant checking in patients, created such a welcoming environment. As for Dr. Tiffany Griffin, she is absolutely outstanding. My eye exam was extremely thorough, and she took her time addressing all of my concerns. Her professionalism, care, and thoughtful advice made me feel confident and well cared for. The optical shop also has a great selection of frames, with plenty of styles to choose from. Overall, I highly recommend this clinic!

AMAZING. I have been to many eye doctors and believe Dr Griffin gave me a more thorough exam than any other. I would definitely go back to her! Also, the lady that helped me pick out my glasses and finish out my transaction was very friendly and answered all of my questions. Later, when I couldn't find my receipt, I called them back and they printed up a duplicate for me. I'm very impressed with their services and friendliness.

I took my grandmother who is hard of hearing/deaf and has an intellectual disability to this location after two failed appointments at locations that weren't able to accommodate to her needs. The staff there were absolutely welcoming, understanding and accommodating! The spectacular Dr. Griffin made my grandmother feel comfortable, heard and respected! I highly recommend coming here to get your eye exam for your elderly family members!

Skip right to no,dont go here. Incompitant staff, booked an appointment 2 weeks out, i show up. No appointment loged. I have seen MANY eye doctors over the years, tifany griffin, did maby a quarter of the procedures and was rush rush rush. It is truely my opinion had she spent more time turning the dials ( like real eye dr do) she would have found what worked, she either does not listen or hesr or care about my needs thats why you pre pay before your seen. Tiffany you have become comfortable and you have too much big head syndrome. The only one on tour staff worth their salt is jennifer.

Dr. Griffin is an amazing eye doctor. She does a thorough exam and actually cares for her patients. I would recommend her without hesitation and her staff in the vision center are very friendly and helpful. If you need an eye exam, this is your place, no doubt! I ordered my glasses there as well for a great price!

So, I'm leaving five stars for the doctor. The staff not so much or just one particular worker. Who I've been unlucky to get twice. The doctor is super thorough. It's Kingdom Eyecare and she gave me an exam that was like the kind I used to get years ago as a kid at Sears Optical. I mean it was thorough. She didn't just check my prescription, but she also spent a lot of time checking the health of my eyes. It was almost annoyingly long but I am confident that my eyes are healthy. So, when you schedule your appointment just know this isn't a fly by night exam it's a real exam. She really cares about your eye health. I have a prescription for bifocals, but I work on my laptop, so I asked for a second close up prescription. I got that before, and I still had to take my glasses off to use my phone but with these I don't. So that's going to be weird to have glasses that actually work. Now the staff they must get some kind of commission for upselling. This is the second time I got the same lady the first time two years ago I stopped and asked how much the total would be to see if I could afford it. The woman said if you get the lowest priced frames, and no frills lenses it would be this price. So, I said OK and made the appointment. When I came out of the exam the lady quoted me a different price that was almost twice it was more than I bought. And I told her the other lady said it would be this much and she started almost screaming like raising her voice so the whole office if not store could hear that the whatever kind of coated lenses cost this much. So, I said Well I have to wait until next week to get paid and come in. So, she took the glasses up in a huff and was so freaking rude. I may change this to four stars now that I think. So, when I came back to get the glasses another girl rang me up and she asked me what kinds of lenses I wanted I said basic and then she charged me the original quoted price. The other lady acted like I didn't have the option for uncoated lenses. She just assumed to charge me for the coating. This time my insurance paid for the glasses and so she said you have this much to spend. So, when I sat down you could tell she was annoyed that she couldn't upsell me. She is all like you don't want a coating and all this stuff. I assume it was the same girl unless they have two people that are like that. So just go because you won't find a better eye doctor, and this is the most accurate prescription I have gotten since going to Sears as a child. The do have budget frames for like 7 dollars even I got ones for 17 that lasted me two years. They are still good I just figured I better get a new pair. Just don't feel embarrassed or be afraid to speak up for yourself if you get the same worker I got. I wish I would have asked her who she was hollering at or why. I hate when I do that.

The optometrists herself Dr. Tiffany Griffis is the only good about it. To ensure your health she is very thorough with the exam even if it takes time. The staff itself are nice and also thorough but not in the correct way. it takes 30 minutes for them to place an order for the glasses you bring to them from the wall. They will not warn you the lenses and glasses' frames are sold seperately you are supposed to know. They will assume you don't want regular lenses which cost $30, but polycarbonate lenses for $88 more until you question why you are paying $118 more than the price quoted on the frames. They will take 10 to 15 minutes to hand you contacts/glasses you already ordered. And lastly they will ask if you want a half year or a full year, but it means 12 or 24 lenses regardless of the type of lens (2 week lenses for half a year, means you will have 2 boxes of 6 lenses which for 1 eye will last 24 weeks if you have 2 eyes it will last 12 weeks or 3 months) Breakdown: optometrist 5/5 Clerk: 3/5 Time 1/5 Information awareness 1/5 Price 2/5 (unable to plan budgeting due to lack of information until you decide exactly what you want first even though very little pricing information is provided except the glasses' frames.) P.s Don't bother calling they will most likely not answer. Recommendation: get the exam results here and order them online yourself, or use information provided to save time.

Staff was friendly. I LOVED the doctor. She was very professional and had a great attitude towards me. I left my appointment knowing I had healthy eyes and I can see very well with my new contacts. I am happy with my decision to visit this doctor today!
