Eye Center Northeast

It was my 1st visit to Ete Center Northeast. I had an appointment to see Dr. Jones. My appointment was at 10 am and I think I was called in at about 10:10 . The inside is clean and updated and the women at reception were very nice and helpful. I was able to complete all forms on my phone via a text link they sent me in advance of the appointment. I had some test run, just to be sure everything was okay with my eyes. They have very modern diagnostic equipment, better than other places I've been to in Maine. The tech that did all my tests was very nice and very knowledgeable. She answered all of my questions and provided a lot of helpful information. Dr. Jones was very nice, and not at all not rushed. We discussed some options for dry eyes and I decided to try out a simple treatment that he recommended. Hopefully it will help me. They also offer frames and contacts, as well as repairs. I would definitely recommend them for eye care, contacts and glasses.

She did rush and each step felt intentional. I appreciated the time taken to ensure care at a high standard. During the exam, I was impressed by how advanced diagnostic technology was paired with clear clinical insight. The use of state-of-the-art tools was grounded in experience and practical understanding. I felt understood, and my concerns were clearly addressed. The doctor introduced Neurolenses, which use contoured prism technology to support visual alignment, and explained the recommendation in a way that was straightforward and easy to follow. The optical team continued that same standard. They reviewed pricing clearly, provided a detailed quote, explained lens options, and helped me select frames that suited me well. The process felt organized and well guided. From scheduling through frame selection, the care remained exemplary and professional. This practice integrates advanced optometric technology with experienced, patient-centered service. I appreciate the expertise of the entire team.

It's a well maintained office . The girls behind the desk are smart and knowledgeable. My appointment did not start on time but definitely not really late . The technicians and the doctor are very nice. I had asked the technician about contact lens and she said that was something we could talk about . I thought I might discuss it with the doctor but that didn't happen. That being said ( you have to be your own advocate) I probably should have brought it up to him but I didn't . I'm sure I could make another appointment to discuss or maybe try contacts . I do like the fact that I was able to fill out forms before I went and I already have an appointment for next year so I will use them again. Also I love the fact that they send text reminders

I cannot recommend them enough. My 6 year old son got a piece of wood stuck in his eye and his pediatrician recommended I take him to the ER. I called EyeCenter Northeast at 3pm and they got him in that same day. Everyone we interacted with was amazing and they made my son comfortable and explained exactly what they were going to do. Dr. Jones was amazing and he got the piece of wood out in like, 2 seconds. Thank you everyone so so much for squeezing us in and being so kind!

I had never been there before. And from the time I walked through the door to the time I left the staff was knowledgeable.,Professional, very kind and understood that I was a little worried about what was happening with my eyes. I feel like the technician that I saw before I saw the eye doctor every time I asked a question., She had an answer, and she was very patient with me, because I blinked a lot and I just can't say enough about how good this place really is if you need to have an eye doctor that's where you should go.

Dr. Chloe Douglas is so good, couldn't recommend her enough. She's quick and super efficient. Super friendly staff as well, just a great environment overall.

Great experience. Went in for my yearly diabetic eye exam. The office is really nice and check in was easy. Amiee did most of my exam and was wonderful and professional. The Dr was really nice, explained everything to me and answered all my questions. I noticed they have a place to buy your eyeglasses and sunglasses as well. A really nice practice.

Eye Center NE has a fabulous staff! All of the staff from the front office, optical medical assistants, and doctors are outstanding. They are courteous, provide explanations on everything, and make time to answer any questions. So give them a try for your next eye exam. You will not be disappointed!
