Really great experience with Doctor Valley and the whole staff today. Friendly, helpful, kind. It was easy to get the appointment. It was a big plus they have the best technology because I was able to have my eyes examined without dilation because of the machine they use to take pictures. Informative! I've never seen such a cool picture of the insides of my eyes before. 10 stars.

Dr. Valley is a great guy and the staff here are very welcoming. I was getting my first eye exam ever and didn't know what to expect, but was quickly put at ease by everyone's friendly and professional demeanor. The experience was phenomenal and they answered all of my questions throughout the process of the appointment. I got a scrip from their office that's helping me see better already! I would recommend Dr. Valley to anyone who is looking for friendly eye care in the Bangor area; especially for those experiencing issues with their vision for the first time and have never had an eye exam before.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gaetani for over 20 years, and now my son goes to him. He has always addressed every question I have had. He and all his staff have always been polite & friendly. Always goes above & beyond to care for my eyes and is very aware of life's situations. Great experience all around everytime.

Dr. Valley was awesome! I made an appointment to get my eyes checked and he squeezed me in on his time after hours! The office was clean, professional and efficient! I was in and out in literally 20 minutes! Highly recommend!!!

Dr. Valley was extremely knowledgeable. He was able to help me with my dry eyes by switching my contacts over to daily contacts. He was also able to squeeze me into his schedule. I will be returning and recommending him to friends and family.

Awesome service! Got appt same day for urgent eye issue when no other optometrist in town would see me. Dr. Gaetani really knows his stuff, got me medication immediately and referred me to opthalmologist very next morning. Very nice professional staff! Mary S

Gaetani Eye Care Associates ... 10/10 would NOT recommend. Initially, it was Dr. Brooks office and I have been receiving care there since 2007. That's 15 years at this one place. A few years ago, Dr. Brooks retired and the practice was taken over and new staff emerged. The past few years have been awful. Here is a list: -several rescheduling and canceling of my appointments -ordering the wrong contacts - forgetting to order the right contacts - ordering the incorrect amount of contacts -misplacing my contact order -failing to update my name in my records, over and over again -not calling me when my order is in -scheduling appointments a year into the future and not giving the courtesy of a reminder text, call, or email. And more I'm sure I have forgotten... Today, was the last straw for me. I called to set up an appointment so I could get more contacts and the lady was so rude to me that I actually had to ask her why she was being so rude then she said (as If to justify her next action for anyone who might be listening) "I don't like your language!" And HUNG UP ON ME! As if I was swearing at her or being rude to her! So I called back asked to speak to someone in "charge" and nicely and calmly explained what had happened and there was no apology or attempt to assist me so I told them I would be seeking care somewhere else and was told to have a nice day. I fail to understand this level of unprofessionalism....and truly, will not be going back. So sorry Dr. Gaetani.... You have lost a long time, loyal patient who needs annual checkups and boat loads of contacts.... Because your staff is incompetent and rude.

Office staff was awesome and got us in quickly. Dr. Sam Valley was extremely personable, knowledgeable and really connects with his patients. Highly recommend!
