Lise is so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with picking out a frame that flatters your face. She has a great selection of glasses to choose from. I highly recommend State Street Optics if you are in the market for a new pair of glasses!

Epic Service! Called after stepping on my only pair of glasses. She said come over now and we'll figure something out. I have replacement frames that will show up Monday, a remarkable duct tape (!) repair to get me thru the weekend, and they have a customer for life!

Lise is the best! You will not find better service in the Bangor Brewer area. Lise spends a good deal of time making sure glasses fit just perfect too. I will not buy glasses from anybody else!

Love this store. Lise is a true professional and truly cares about her customers. She goes the extra mile and knows her craft well. Lise donates her time at local nursing homes to fix and or replace residence glasses at little or no charge to them or their families. I will definitely shop there again.

I was visiting the Bangor area and needed new glasses. I chose State Street, and I's so happy I did! Lise is the best. Knowledgeable, friendly, and she goes the extra mile to make sure you get the best for the best price. If I go back to Maine, I'll definitely go to State Street again!

The lady that works here has the best customer service skills. My spouse got glasses there and now I have as well. The lady that works there is so pleasant, friendly and incredibly helpful. I don't generally take the time to write reviews or recommend things but if you need glasses please go here, you won't be disappointed with your experience.

Arrived shortly before closing on a Monday evening looking for glasses for my son's (7yo) first pair of glasses ever. She declined to sell me any frames she had in stock as none were the perfect fit and the ones my son liked were too expensive. She ordered frames for my son to try all under 100$ and with 1 year warranty as she said he's likely to break or loose his first pair. Pointed out multiple features that she recommended, that I had no idea about, to optimize the positioning on his face for reading. Clearly an expert in her craft and her energy and expertise was spectacular.

Wasted $250 here on frames that were misaligned for my eyes. Literally made me go cross eyed. She blamed my eye doctor and told me she couldn't fix them even though she offset the pupil distance without the device by drawing dots on a different pair of frames (I ordered frames from a magazine). She claimed I had eye issues? But my eye doctor assured me my eyes were healthy at my appointment a few months ago. I'm not coming back and buying new frames through Zenni.
