What a wonderful experience! I wanted to get an eye exam before the end of the year and they were able to work me in the day after my phone call. I was received by reception and they started my basic exam with some beautiful and high-tech equipment. Then I was introduced to Dr Julie and she was delightful. She gave me so much information and answered my questions on a very direct and understandable level. She gave me positive feedback about my eyes in general and showed me some great photographs that they do of the eyeball. When all was said and done. Dr Julie explained How my vision had changed based on my description of my vision previously.
I am new to prescription glasses and once I chose the frames that I liked, arrangements were made to have the glasses prepared. I was advised that they should be in between 10 to 15 days. I have vision insurance and they accepted try coverage.
I can't say enough nice things about the service and the very personal care, that was extended to me. It is a beautiful facility and it is located in the 7th Street shopping center in Frederick Maryland. Unit number 13. If you are looking for an appointment and personal care, I would highly recommend Wink Vision and Dr. Julie.

Tim was really helpful from the decision process of the styles of frames to the insurance coverage and discounts. He suggested using my insurance for the most expensive pair of frames and sunglass lenses and utilizing the discount for my second pair bin the most cost effective way. Would not recommend either location. Probably my worst experience with my yearly glasses on the retail side of things. Frames took over 6 weeks - then one pair had to be sent back because they did not use the thinnest lens possible as I requested due to my high rx. Terrible job fitting the new frames to my face. Took multiple calls to get a copy of my RX/receipt due to ineptitude.

Dr. Julie Vendittis, Optometrist, has a great bedside manner to help you feel comfortable during your eye exam and she gave me a thorough eye examination. Justin O'Brien, Business Manager, was professional and gave me the best deal possible. The receptionist was polite and respectful.
I had been looking for frames for some months even looked online. On my first visit to Wink, I was a little hesitant about looking for anymore frames I had purchased a frame online, nice, but not exactly what I was looking for. I picked one frame and then another and "Viola" it was the frame I had been looking for, not to wide, the style, color was just right, PERFECT!!! I can't wait to show off my glasses!!! So, please, check them out. You won't be disappointed!!!
