I was caught off guard when I looked and found out they had charged me for a one year insurance coverage on the glasses without even mentioning this to me. I did not need the insurance and had to go back to have them remove it. The women at the counter said they automatically do this to every order, so beware if you don't want to pay that extra fee. Otherwise the service was fine.

Dr Nita can use some manners, she just takes your payment with no info. Part of the exam should be an explanation of services, especially when a kid is involved. Deterred me from getting my eye exam.

I first want to say that everything about the check in process went smoothly!
However, Dr Nita Gala was rude, unfriendly and curt. During the exam, I was trying to tell her something and she told me to be quiet. I get it, but I felt that she could care less about me or what I had to say.
Worst of all, is that when I mentioned a previous issue with my eyes, she said I didn't have that issue but mentioned the obvious: that I cannot see.
After the exam, I had to get in contact with my old eye doctor to explain the results. They confirmed that the eyeglass prescription Dr Nita wrote clearly shows I still have that issue I mentioned to Dr Nita. In addition, after the exam, Dr Nita didn't let me know anything about my eyes after doing to exam- like if I had any issues or if they were ok or not.

I truly hate this place. I visited this location for an eye exams 3-4 months ago. Their square reader had an issue and I was unable to pay and was told I will receive an email within the next 24-48 hours to pay online and receive my prescription. Waited 3 days and no email. I called them many times for the next 1-1.5 months and was told I will receive an email and I never did. I don't live near this location so I could not go and pay them with cash. As you can tell I absolutely tried my best to pay for the services I received because i really liked her work but was unable to. Naturally, I went somewhere else and got my eye exam. and now (after I have already got new glasses) they are calling me asking me to pay the invoice TODAY or it's going to be a passed due payment. I will not be paying for my balance and I will be taking further action.

I found the demeanor and tone of Dr. Gala to be borderline rude and somewhat condescending. The prescription I received did not give me the optimal vision correction I was hoping for. I tolerated it for a while until my glasses broke this morning, and I had to use my previous pair as an emergency backup. My vision was so much better with my old glasses (purchased at another Dr.'s office) that I was annoyed with myself for putting up with the other ones for so long. The service I received from Elfreda and her associate when it was time to choose lenses and determine my benefits coverage was quite outstanding. I will, however, be seeking another eye doctor for my future needs.
