I have always had a pleasant experience coming to this location. Noticed my eyes were being wonky called to make an appt and Karina was very helpful on the phone getting me squared away. The lady that helps you pick out the glasses was very nice as well. While I did not like the one charge that is mandatory now the lady that did that testing was nice to tell me about it beforehand. She was also a very nice girl. I will always recommend Urbana Eye care for anyone!

I love all of the employees here. The office is so clean, everyone is respectful. Most of all Brooke who does your eyes like dilating them. If there was a rating for each one I would give her 10-20 stars. I will continue to recommend Urbana Eye.

I have been going to this eye doctor for years, went in for a scheduled appointment and I had a little misunderstanding with some paperwork that I signed. I was talking to a very nice young lady that was trying to help me with my glasses. when one of the other coworkers ( being the lady that does the eye testing before you see the doctor ) was extremely rude extremely unprofessional Because I did not understand what I had signed and I'm trying to explain that. as an employee, she was extremely rude and I would not want anyone like that working at my establishment

I needed minor repair for a couple pair of glasses---Replace a screw in one of them and put a lens back in the frame that had cracked. I had been to a couple places that would not work on the glasses because I did not buy them there. I took them to Urbana Eye Care and they fixed them no problem within 15 minutes and no charge. They did a great job and much appreciated.

When it comes to your eye health; everyone wants to make sure they are taken care of in the most exceptional service. Urbana Eye Care have that exceptional service. Although I did not get my prescription here; they will now be the ones I go to to get my contacts and glasses.
When I came into Urbana Eye Care; it was a late Friday Afternoon. As I walked in; I was greeted by Dustin at the front desk. He quickly helped me by getting me into his system and ordering me my contacts. The whole process didn't take longer than 5 minutes. During this time; 4 more people came in and his ability to greet and manage everyone efficiently was good.
Do recommend and great job Dustin.

This office is now requiring that you get retinal photo and pay out of pocket for it. When I made the appointment for my daughter just a few days prior, they failed to mention this policy change. I refused to sign a document they had about the procedure, but when they called my daughter back, they took the photo any way, and said they won't charge us, unless we come back next year. I was pissed that they took the photo without my consent, and even more pissed that they are going to charge me for it "if I come back." We won't be coming back to this office because of this policy change and the lack of transparency about it.

Urbana eye care has the best customer service in the Mount Airy/Urbana area! The doctor took him time, was patient and answered all my questions. The staff was accommodating and spent a lot of time making sure I had the right frames to fit my face and prescription! I will never go back to another eye doctor!!
I went to an eye doctor two weeks before who told me I didn't have insurance for vision and made me pay out of pocket. Something seemed off since we have always had eye coverage. Then did nothing to fix the fact that my new glasses don't seem correct. Urbana not only confirmed that we have coverage but we have excellent coverage! Thank you Dr Gan and your entire staff for putting the patient/customer first!

If I could I give no stars. Rude on phone to my girlfriend and her friend and myself. Receptionist could answer basic insurance questions about Medicaid or Medicare eye after giving information about insurance she the. Explained they accepted all 3 kinds of eye care and wanted more information and yelled all 3 times hanging up phone. I will drive 45 minuets to get my contacts ordered to avoid the redness and attitude of these horrible staff.
