My review is for the front desk staff. Unfortunately I did not get to see the Doctor. I called early Monday morning and spoke with the answering service who was very professional and helpful. She transferred me to the office voice mail. Mid morning I called the answering service again and filled out the appointment information online. She doubled checked the appointment availability. I went to the office for my 12 noon appointment. The office staff was very rude. They said they did not have me registered. I gave her all my information and explained the process I took. They called and confirmed what I had said with the answering service. I did leave them a phone message but they never returned my call. They were not busy and were just sitting and chatting. They told me there was not an appointment. Then they proceeded to tell me they did not take my secondary insurance. I tried to explain to her that Medicare pays first and then the secondary pays the balance. They do not bill my secondary. She argued her point. I really needed the appointment and it was not general in nature. They did not try to accommodate me or apologize. The worst office staff I have ever encountered. The Doctor has raving reviews and is very accomplished.

What an amazing doctor and staff! I went for a first visit for a check up and because have dry eyes. Firstly, the staff was amazing. Very helpful from the first phone call to my dilemma in adjusting the appointment. Everything was very seamless and Dr. Kahn was very thorough with my exam. It was very evident that he truly cares about his patients and wants to help find a solution. Highly recommend!

Took my adult daughter to see Dr Kahn via a referral from Suburban Hospital (for an eye ulcer). Front desk staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, and eye tech who did all the tests was so efficient, caring, empathetic (reassuring my daughter with every test she did, almost like she could sense her nervousness.) Dr Kahn seems brilliant to me, was so thorough and explanatory...and seemed like a kind and gentle doctor. Mild mannered and took his time. I'd def recommend this office...they also went to a lot of trouble calling around to find an appt for my daughter to see a cornea specialist to culture the ulcer. I greatly appreciate the care they gave my daughter, would highly recommend.

I recently had the privilege of visiting Dr. Khuram Khan, and it was a truly commendable experience. Not only did he provide top-notch medical care, but his office environment was also exceptional. I couldn't help but notice the ergonomically designed chair with back support and wheels. It seemed perfect for my own office and comfortable for sitting and back support. Dr. Khan was kind enough to instruct his receptionist to share the purchase details with me, highlighting his attentive and accommodating nature. Right from the start, he took the time to thoroughly explain my eye's condition, using computer visuals for clearer understanding. I was particularly concerned about a small clear bubble in the corner of my eye, but Dr. Khan put my fears at ease, recommending a prescription eyedrop treatment. He emphasized a follow-up in a month due to the strength of the drops, showing genuine care for my well-being. Having undergone two Lasik surgery in the past, it was reassuring to hear from him that my eyes are in good health. Dr. Khan's patient, kind, and detailed approach, coupled with his thoughtful office ambiance, made the examination process feel comfortable and enlightening. I'm truly grateful to have discovered such an outstanding retina specialist right here in the Germantown area. Highly recommended!

I was so impressed with the person who answered my call who was also Dr. Khan's assistant. On a very short notice, they were able to fit me in to their busy Friday afternoon. Thank you! Both the assistant who did the first exams (sorry, I didn't catch you name) and Dr. Khan were excellent! They took their time, they were warm and professional. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you're in the Germantown area, this is the place to go!!

I was referred to Dr. Khan a couple years back when I thought I had a detached retina. I was put to ease when he told me it was not detached. My impressions with Dr. Khan was that he was very thorough and personable.. I am very happy with the care that I receive and highly recommend Dr. Khan. His new office location is nice and I can walk to Wegmans when I am done with my appointments.

He sets a standard for patient care that will be difficult for others to meet. Dr Khan is a physician that cares, educates and never rushes. I had complete confidence in his comments and strongly recommend him for care.

Great dr. Who really works with you and gives you great recommendation and referrals. Spend very good time and effort diagnosed and treatment. Very good handle difficult conditions. I was very impressed with him. He is very detailed information to get better.
