I have been coming to Americas Best for the last 10 to 15 years and what has kept me coming back over the years isn't just the high quality frames but the extremely knowledgeable staff. The staff is so good I have been following the manager at Owings Mills Ms Jill because her stores always feel like home and welcoming. From the moment we walked in until left the store, we encountered the kindest most helpful and knowledgeable people! The associate Talaiyah, who did the sizing and order placement was phenomenal, and went way out of her way to help me navigate the process of using Medicare and supplemental insurance for the first time when getting glasses. I have gone to many places for glasses in the past, but I can't remember ever having such a wonderful experience as we had at America's Best Owings Mills. I HIGHLY recommend them, and they will have my business for the foreseeable future!!

I would NEVER recommend anyone to go to this location. The ophthalmologist that my daughters and my mother seen there were very pleasant but the front desk staff has evidently changed. My mother called trying to get information about her last visit from 2022 since we had moved 3 years ago. The person that she spoke to at the front desk was very rude to her, wasn't trying to take the time to explain what happened to the note in my mother's file and quickly hung up on her. That was absolutely unprofessional and extremely poor customer service. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION IF YOU WANT EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!

While I have great respect for the optometrist's expertise and found the medical staff a pleasure to work with, the administrative customer service has been incredibly disappointing. Despite specifically requesting only one of my two prescriptions be filled, the office ordered the wrong one. This error resulted in an unnecessary two-week delay. When I called to discuss this inconvenience, I was dismissively told that since I now had the glasses, I "should be fine," and I shouldn't expect anything further. The call was then abruptly ended. When you spend a significant amount of money on eyecare, you expect accountability and basic courtesy. It is a shame that poor follow-through and a lack of professional grace have forced me to take my business elsewhere.

"Owings Mills" location I absolutely loved my experience there today. From the receptionist at the front desk, to the Optometrist everyone was friendly, curteous, and professional especially Markus. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. I've been to other locations & this one by far is the best, I'd highly recommend them. Update# 10/5/2025 I just received a text back last week stating my items were ready AFTER I called them to inquire about my order status. Mind you, I called a couple weeks prior and was told they hadn't arrived yet. That's crazy! Do Better...

My experience here was wonderful. Everyone was very kind and helpful. Dr. Fuss is very knowledgeable and funny so the eye exam went very well. He answered all of my questions and took proper care to address concerns I had with my vision. Beth was very helpful with picking out the best pair of glasses for me. I always have a great experience here.

Never going back ever. 11/14 I called inquiring if they had my contacts in stock for pickup because my regular location Security had relocated and was not open for business yet, the young man told me that my prescription had expired and I would have to get an exam if I needed contacts. I ended up scheduling an appointment. I had an 11:30pm appointment 11/29. I did not get seen until 12:40 just for her to tell me she could not see me because she could not capture the right pictures of my eyes. After waiting an hour to be seen, I left and already knew I was never coming back. The same day, I went to the new Catonsville location because Security was my regular location, They were able to see me immediately with no appointment BUT as I was about to get examined, the young lady told me that my prescription did not expire until July of NEXT YEAR (2026) !!!! If I could do 0 star I would for the Owings Mills location I would.

Best experience ever! I worked with Brianna and Beth and they were really accommodating and knowledgeable! Thank you so much Beth for helping me today! Dr. Fuss is hilarious and very personable! They have a great selection of frames for ALL face shapes! I highly recommend Americas Best- Owings Mills.
