I had an excellent experience at Elman Retina Everyone I interacted with was professional, kind, and genuinely cared about making me comfortable. The staff was a delight especially Brenda, Janice and Alice-- friendly, patient, and reassuring throughout my visit. Dr. Doa took the time to explain everything clearly, and I appreciated that their opinion matched what my original doctor said -- it gave me so much peace of mind. Highly recommend this office to anyone needing a second opinion or specialized eye care!

Office is clean and staff is very friendly. If I ever have an issue there is always someone to speak to immediately Dr Elman takes the time to explain your entire process. His treatment has been a miracle for myself. Highly recommend!

My one star is because of the experience with my mother at a new Doctor in N.C. The wait time from start to finish is 30-40 minutes. The new Doctor has also improved her eyesight and we now go every 11 weeks. Dr Elman's wait time was usually 2-4 hours. I took her every time (every 4 weeks) I came from N.C. every month to take her during Covid. My time is important to me. He disregards other people's time. They also closed the office once without telling us and we showed up. The next day the wanted to push us out 3 weeks. Anytime we wanted to push it out even a week they gave us a hard time. The young male nurse repermended her for leaning on his shoulder while she was getting out of the chair. She is 110 pounds and he yelled that he had a bad back. He was a bigger person. Basically Dr Elman over books patients.

Visiting the Elman Retina Group was a surprisingly pleasant experience! I arrived, feeling a bit nervous about needing the evaluation in the first place. But every single person who spoke to me or directed me in some manner, was so kind & professional, that they had a calming affect on me. When I mentioned how nice I thought everyone was, the doctor said, "Well, I can hire mean people or nice people. I prefer to hire nice people." To top it off, I'm happy to report that my eyes are healthy!

Pleasant and clean. Staff appeared to enjoy their work. Equipment was up to date and explanations were clear. I would definitely recommend this practice.

The entire office was very friendly and professional. The Doctor was thorough and knowledgeable. Everyone was Respectable!!! The MA who checked me in was exceptional but don't remember her name.

I was having a problem with getting my nephew a referral and Mrs.MARY and Mrs.Brenda help us they made phone calls that they didn't have to do but they did it anyway so my nephew would be able to go to his appointment they was very understanding and helpful they was very nice and caring we are so thankful and they made the appointment so easy for us thank you again

The staff was friendly to interact with and Dr. Schechet was knowledgeable, friendly, and answered all the questions I had.
