I went in to the Golden Ring Visionworks because my prescription sunglasses had broken. I purchased them at an out of state Visionworks and really was not getting any service there. At this location Lauren couldn't have been more professional or accommodating. Not only was she amazing to me, when I walked in her phone was ringing and she said "I'll be with you in a minute or so". The person on the other end of the call was giving her a hard way to go and really pushing her. Lauren remained poised and calm and assisted this customer so professionally. When she hung up, she accommodated my needs in the most professional and warm manner. I would recommend this location of Visionworks to everyone as Lauren knows her stuff and is honest, professional and warm. If you want excellent service, stop by and see Lauren!!
I went into the store and dealt with a representative, Drea. She was amazing. Very patient, pleasant, and professional. A n absolute pleasure to deal with. Her customer service was impeccable. I really appreciated her kindness and assistance.
It is sad how this establishment went downhill. I wonder where the 5-star ratings are coming from. I have been a Visionworks Rosedale customer for over 10 years, but I finally called it quits a week ago. Visionworks used to be great but downhill after COVID. They used to have optometrists who actually performed in-office visits but, the company started Vision-link (virtual visits) during the pandemic and the optometrist were never returned in office.
I stuck around out of loyalty, even though the equipment was often broken, service was slow, and employees came and went like a revolving door. I wonder why.
The last straw? Well, I made an appointment for 3 weeks ago. On arrival, I was told that their equipment was down and had just restarted, that and it would be an 40-minute wait. I said, no problem and stuck around. About 3 people were ahead of me who have not been seen. I waited for an hour and half and decided to reschedule. The next available appointment was in 2 weeks. I said no problem, I would reschedule my other appointments. On the appointment day, due to an accident, I was 8 mins late. Immediately I arrived, the lady at the desk said, "we can't see you today, we have a 5-minute grace period". I apologized for being late and begged to be fit in. After all, there is still one person waiting to be seen. The man also stated he has been waiting for a while, and at the door it is clearly written "walk-ins welcome". The lady blatantly refused. I asked myself why I continued to take this nonsense. I requested for my previous exam prescription. They acted like they couldn't obtain it. They finally provided it when they found out I wasn't budging. As I left the building, I contacted Walmart Vision and was seen same day by an in-person optometrist who was very personable and works with a great crew. I was even provided sample contact lenses to try. I also found out that I have been over-paying for my contacts through Visionworks. I have been paying double the cost even with my insurance! Honestly, I'm glad this experience pushed me to make a change after these many years.
Such an incredible location, first off I dont think I could pick a favorite employee because everyone who helped me was incredibly nice. the doctor joining virtually was great and it really streamlined the whole process. The site manager was so great and supportive of her team, it was wonderful to seeing her leading them with grace, humor and skill. And to top it all off my glasses are perfect and I am seeing better than I have in years. Thank you for playing glasses fashion show with me so I could pick the perfect pair. Your whole team is delightful.
Very nice store with nice Staff the lady ( Tech) that assist me with the exam and the young lady that assist me with my glasses and prescription. Good Customer Service I will return . With myself being a Cooperate Manager Excellent Customer service makes a business thrive . I will update after I recieve my Glasses aswell
The worse customer service ever. Just no concept of service at all. The clerks working there don't want to be there and that is clear by how they ignore you when you come into the store. My order was suppose to arrive on 3/22/25. They came in on 3/5/25. Did I get a call, a text, or an email when the order came in? No. I called on 4/5/25. System informs me that the order has not arrived. I found out on 5/6/25, when I was able to make contact with a human, that my order was in. No apology, nothing. DO NOT DO BUSINESS AT THIS STORE. They're rude and unbothered by your inconvenience, concerns, or business.
I really like the 3 young ladies who are there whenever I have an appointment or picking up my glasses. The young lady who waited on me, she has long nails, she's always bubbly & smiling when she sees me and I come once a year. She remembers me and call me by name. I appreciate her warm welcoming attitude..thumbs up to them all
I have been a Visionworks customer for years, I have visited several branches but this year has been the worst customer service as if they were not paid to serve you, they do not even have the cloths for the lenses that are already paid for and the people who now work there simply do not want to do their job, I remember a lady Miss Monica, she was excellent, unfortunately she has already retired, when you pick up your order they do not even tell you to try them on, my glasses fit a little loose but I better go to Glen Burnie because the people there are friendly and do their job well!
