Danielle M. Ledoux, MD

We were referred to Dr. Ledoux for my son, and she has been absolutely excellent. She's thorough, patient, explains everything clearly, and helped us weigh our options when considering surgery. She performed my son's surgeries, and we felt confident and supported every step of the way. We highly recommend her!

Seen twice. Parking was miserable and when I explained to front desk then say I could park at the garage at the hospital. Thanks for that information but wow far away. I will say Dr. Ledoux's manner is so kind and sweet. She interacted beautifully with my child and explained things very well to me. So the 2 stars are for her. Both times Dr. Ledoux was terribly late (30+ min each time) then told we'd have to dilate without knowing the second time (over an hour). First appointment was an hour and a half and I kid you not, the second was a 3-hour endeavor. I did get apologies and I appreciate that but it was twice. 6 months apart. That's not a one off that's a trend and another reviewer saying the same is confirmed for me. Then, because she was running late another doctor came in to assess the prescription my child needed to "save time." We went there specifically to see Dr. Ledoux, our appointment was with her. Either there is a terrible overbooking by office staff/management or there's a BLATANT LACK OF RESPECT for my time but of course we, as patients cannot be hours late or expect a doctor to wait for us. In fact waited months to get in. I just cannot condone/refer any place that cannot respect my schedule, especially when I do theirs. There's no reason a basic eye exam should take hours (multiple) long.

Dr Ledoux and her tech Logan were wonderful! We met with her with our one year old daughter. She was very patient and took our concerns seriously. She was really great with our daughter and explained thoroughly what she was doing and what for us to expect. We would definitely recommend her!

Dr. Ledoux is outstanding. We have put full trust in her since my son's eyes began crossing at age two. She diagnosed him and has been his ophthalmologist for almost five years. She is consistently kind, warm and patient and has always taken the time to explain what she is doing and why. She gives us the chance to ask questions and express any concerns. She puts both kids and their parents at ease as does her entire staff.

I am so excited Dr Ledoux has her own office! It is so much more convenient to go here than it was going into Children's. My children have been going to her for years and they both love her. Dr Ledoux is so welcoming and friendly you feel like part of her family when you see her. My first trip to her new office was such a great experience. The staff is so genuinely nice and it just made the process so much easier. Bringing 2 kids to the eye docter can certainly be a challenge but mine look forward to it. Her specialty is pediatrics but she has also been able to see me. I highly recommend Dr. Ledoux!!

Dr. Ledoux is an amazing practitioner. She has a great bedside manner- listens with compassion to her patients, and is a brilliant surgeon. I totally put my trust (and eyes) in her hands.

We went to Dr. Ledoux for a second opinion after seeing our current doctor for about 4 years. She was so pleasant and made my anxious 6 year old feel at ease. She did her evaluation and gave us her recommendations and had us think about 2 different options that could both work for my daughter and didn't just tell us what needed to be done. Her office and office staff werr very pleasant and inviting. The appointment didn't take forever like at our old office. We are going back for our 1st follow up in 2 months and I can't wait to see what results we get with our new treatment.

Dr. Ledoux has recently switched from Boston Children's to her own private practice in Beverly! It is so nice to have such a great pediatric Ophthalmologist in the North Shore area. She has always provided me with the very best care!
