Melrose office closed without notice, with no forwarding address to UPS. My husband has been waiting for his new prescription since JAN 2024 He paid for half the glasses and they billed his insurance No returns from phone calls Have visited the Beverly office twice with no one there ( went when the website said they were open) Left a note at Nicks next store She called back once saying the glasses will be here in 7-10 days, that was in June No response to the 2nd note All he wants is a copy of his prescription and his money back from insurance and what he put down...he is ignored

ordered glasses March 11 now May 6th have not heard anything from them 6 phone calls to answering service no return call . Call during hours listed on web phone says closed . They have very limited hours . and even more limited customer service. Now May 17th and 7 calls still no reply . I've filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission , and the consumer division of the Mass Attorney General and my insurance company is looking into it . I have to say I have never exoerienced anything like this in my 71 years May 23rd nothing and the iinsurance company is looking into it and they don't answer them either June 20 never got my glasses . Charged me 211 dollars for the purpose of getting glasses and never delivered them . Chalk it up to lesson learned . Silver lining went to Dr. D'Angelo in Saugus . Talk about going from the ridiculous to the sublime .Treated great start to finish . Ordered glasses told 10 to 14 days they arrived in 6 . I am just writing this to maybe prevent people from going through the horrendous experience I had. Caveat emptor let the buyer beware

Ordered glasses 4 months ago, still haven't received them. Nothing wrong with the skill of the office staff regarding vision test/fitment appointments. If you choose to order glasses from them, don't prepay.

Waiting for glasses since aug 2022. Told multable times they will call me when ready and that I will have them 7 to 10 buisness days hard to get a hold of them mail box is always full. Maybe I'll have my glass before my next eye exam which will not be with them

My husband and I both go to Towne Optical's Beverly location and are both very pleased with them. Andrea is friendly, efficient and courteous. The doctor is very good and friendly.

I have gotten excellent eye care and service at Towne Optical. There is a great variety of frames to pick from. Thank you!!!

I just can't say enough about this location, it's great. Andrea is the best.
