Dr. Sabree is very caring and thorough optometrist.
His office gives you their full attention and care.
As well I would give them an A+ rating!
Went for the first time as it is near my place of work. However, the lady at the desk was friendly and welcoming. When it was time for my first appointment with the eye doctor, a young man was not welcoming and demanded I take a seat in the room. I had to teach him manners when you see older people, meaning saying good morning and welcome. Then the eye doctor, laughed at me while I was asking questions as it was my first time in their office. The people who work there are a joke and do not take their first time clients seriously. I would rather go far from my job then to be made fun of. BEST ADVICE....GO ELSEWHERE. Wish someone told this to me.
Dr. Sabree was wonderful! He explained everything clearly, was very patient, and thorough! Highly recommend!
I was incredibly happy with my appointment with Dr Sabree. He is simply amazing. Very professional, attentive and informative. Listens to you and gives solution. For the first time in my life my contacts fit perfectly and my dryness is not an issue anymore. All of the staff is very friendly and helpful. The vibe is amazing. Can't recommend more!
I've been a regular at this center for over six years, mostly because the doctor's care has always been excellent. But recently, I've hit some snags with the front desk that I think need some attention.
Back in 2019, I bought glasses here and everything seemed fine until I tried to reorder with the same prescription somewhere else. That's when the confusion started. I brought the glasses back to the center to check things out. Initially, one staff member mentioned that my glasses were stronger than what my prescription stated, suggesting this was somewhat normal. I found it strange, but I trusted their judgment at the time.
A few months later, I returned with the same glasses, only to be told that they perfectly matched my prescription, contradicting the earlier assessment. Moreover, the staff flatly denied the earlier claim about intentionally stronger lenses, adding to the confusion.
The record-keeping added another layer of frustration. When I asked for my original 2019 prescription, the responses were inconsistent. One staff member assured me that records were maintained for five years, yet could only produce records from 2021 onwards. It was only when another staff member intervened that documents dating back to 2018 were located, highlighting a clear disconnect in how information is managed.
There are two distinct experiences when interacting with the staff at the front desk. One staff member tends to be reliable and corrects errors promptly, while the other, though confident, has demonstrated a tendency to provide misleading information without acknowledging the oversights. It's not about who they are as individuals; it's about the consistency and reliability of the service they provide.
While the doctor's care remains impeccable, the administrative experiences have been a bit of a rollercoaster. It's a blend of confusion, frustration, and a nagging feeling of uncertainty about the information provided. I'm sharing this in the hope that it leads to improvements at the front desk. Clear and trustworthy communication is crucial, especially in eye care.
Best eye doctors around! I saw Dr. Ah-kine, OD, faao and she is wonderful! I had an eye condition she had the solution! Couldn't have been more understand and thorough. When my insurance didn't cover an eye drop she worked with me until we found one that was. I cant say enough good things about her! Run don't walk to Dartmouth Street Vision Center!!!
I was very happy with the appointment with Dr Sabree. He's a great optometrist and also very nice. He took the time to explain each step of the process, and gave concrete recommendations for how to take care of my eyes better in the future. The staff was also very friendly, and talked me through different options for using the benefits in my policy.
I am lucky to have such an amazing vision center right near me. Dr. Sabree was so professional and kind. All of the staff are friendly and so helpful. For example, my glasses were sliding a little (but otherwise great) and I just walked in and they fitted it perfectly in a few minutes. They really know their stuff! Cannot recommend them highly enough.
