After experiencing a major retinal tear a year ago I rushed to Mass Eye and Ear on a Sunday morning and was seen by Dr. Eliot who also happens to head up the department at the hospital. He operated the next morning and the operation has been a total success! I count myself extremely fortunate to have been treated by a physician who I would rate as the absolute best in his profession. Dr. Dean Eliott saved my life a few years ago. He is extremely knowledgable. His office is the best-run medical office I've ever been to. The entire team is professional and caring. My husband had a hole in his retina. Dr. Eliott was very caring and took time to explain the procedure. All went well, the second surgery. Now for his other eye which has the same problem. We have 100% faith in Dr. Eliott.

My daughter has the honor to be one of Dr. Elliot's patients. In our case, my 21yo daughter's situation is a little different from all patients she is special needs with cognitive and physical delays.Her eye diagnosis it was a severe detached retina with multiple signs of thick scar tissue on her eye. The surgery it had to be done ASAP, Dr. Elliot and his team did and outstanding job on attaching again my daughter's retina and took out all the scar tissue. I do not have words to really be thankful to him and all his team for the outstanding care for my daughter. Dr. Elliot is very kind, objective and understands any concern you could have about having a surgery done by him and his team. He knows his stuff!!!
