Dr. Raizman saw my wife, and we would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for an ophthalmologist. She waited for two hours for what was ultimately a 10-minute appointment. In that appointment, Dr. Raizman didn't ask my wife any questions - he simply read the referral and went to examine her eyes, barking things at his assistant as he did so. He then proceeded to make a series of ill-informed assumptions, followed by broad, sweeping pronouncements about her condition that would have been quite upsetting if she weren't as medically sophisticated as she is (and recognized that he was practicing poor medicine). He went on to recommend a procedure that carries meaningful risk with it, without actually understanding the issue that needed to be addressed (after literally having said that she was experiencing something he was not an expert in). If that weren't enough, he was rude to both my wife and to his assistant. My wife left with no more information than she had going in with, having wasted two hours of her time. We only hope others have a chance to benefit from this review before they go through a similar experience with this doctor.
