Eye Care at South Boston Community Health Center

Recently, due to the problems I have had, I have been to the eye clinic at SBCHC many times. I express my best consideration for this clinic, for cleanliness, order and especially for its staff. In addition to the medical staff, I was also impressed by the girl at the reception, Ms.Jola Serani. She is very communicative and very kind. In addition to working at the reception, she explains problems as if she were a doctor. Once again, I express my gratitude for the work of the staff of this clinic. With respect, Drita Cuci.

Dr. Lee and his assistant as well as the receptionist were all very kind, welcoming, thorough, and prompt. Professional, yet caring and patient. Best experience I've had at the eye clinic in my entire life.

I never write reviews but this place has awful service. I do not recommend going here if you want to get your contacts in less than a month. Every time I ordered contacts, I was never called when they came in and had to constantly call to track them. Even when I had them label the right and the left eye on the box they messed that up. The last time was the final straw and the last time I had to deal with them since I've had no choice but to switch offices. I ordered my contacts they said they would mail them to my house, 3 weeks later they still weren't there(I had run out of contacts a week earlier). I call and they have no idea where they are but the manager will call the next day. Obviously I never got a call back so I had to cal and the front desk said oh they were returned here the address didn't work(not shocked since they never do their job anyways so they prob messed up my address). I never got to talk to the manager but if I could give 0 stars I would. I've had contacts my entire life and they normally come within a week, I've never heard of it taking 3-4 weeks for my monthly prescription. No communication at this office, and it appears no one does their job and contact you when your contacts come in.

Your only allowed to see students. Told me I had to pick two pairs then when my insurance would only pay for one gave me the pair I didn't want. The glasses were to big for my face. Wanted me to go 4 weeks with no glasses so I took the pair that didn't fit.

My husband was handed glasses but no one fitted them and being varifocal this was expected so he is not at all happy
