The person who attended me did not even introduce herself. She was very rude and did not explain anything about how the exam was going to be conducted. Because of the way she treated me, I am not even sure if my exam was done correctly. Her behavior was extremely unprofessional. I will never return. She made the visit very uncomfortable. She spoke to me with a lot of rudeness and treated me very poorly. I will not be coming back, and I will not recommend this place to anyone. There was also a man there who was very kind and professional. He gave me some paperwork to fill out. I wish he had been the one to attend me instead

Didn't listen to my worries about my astigmatism, recommended blue light glasses and anti-glare lenses. Those haven't done anything. Completely invalidated my concerns. I'm blinded by any lights while driving so I went to an optometrist hoping to get help since I need to drive at night for work. It was a waste of money :( Still need to drive at night for work so for now I only take back roads and have to pull over any time I see headlights, adding 30 min or more to my commute :D

Communicated everything well for me to understand, they were very sweet and gave me incredible advice. The eye exam took no longer than 15 minutes. A greet experience as expect. No payment since my insurance covered the cost of the eye exam.

If you care about your eyes, please avoid this practice. Grace was rude and unresponsive to questions about my vision and prescription. Moreover, she spent no time ensuring my prescription was accurate. I will now have to go to another optometrist to verify my prescription, because I am not at all sure this is the right prescription for me. The gentleman at the sales desk was lovely, however.

I needed a prescription for contact lenses. I explicitly selected "contact lenses" when scheduling the appointment online, and I also indicated this on the form I filled out upon arrival. Despite this, I was only given a prescription for eyeglasses. When I asked about the contact lenses, I was told I would need to schedule another appointment. I do not recommend this place--it was a waste of my time and money.

This was the worst experience I have ever had in any setting. I've been wearing contacts for over 15 years and my normal doctor in Boston works at Boston Eye and Ear but they didn't have appointments until November and I needed to renew my prescription in order to reorder my contact lenses so I gave this a try. The receptionist and the target optical employees were very kind, but the EZ doctor was not. Prior to my appointment I spent days trying to get my insurance information sorted out with the EZ Eyecare employees and they were not responsive and failed to confirm my information before my appointment. When I arrived, the doctor was very rude and said she could perform my contact exam but that I would have to pay the $95 charge out of pocket since the insurance information had not been confirmed, she said otherwise I could leave. I told her I would pay the $95 then as I needed my prescription in order to reorder contacts. She rushed through the appointment and was very dismissive. When I received my new prescription I noticed that it was now -5.50 for both my eyes when prior it had been -5.25 and -5.00. I asked her if it was normal that it had changed so much, especially since one eye has always been slightly higher than the other. She snapped at me "That's what the exam says. I'm sure." I very graciously tried to tell her again that I didn't mean any offense to her capabilities, I was just a little confused and I wanted to confirm whether that was a normal change as this had never occurred to me before. She angrily handed me a lens to put over my right eye (the eye that had supposedly changed -0.50) and asked me to read the bottom row and then changed the lens and asked which one was better. I said the first was better and she snapped "Are you kidding me, that's impossible" and then pointed out that the second lens added -0.50. I apologized and said that they were both about the same but that the second one made things a bit blurry for me. She angrily retorted "I can just give you your old prescription and you can be out" I was hurt and embarrassed by her outburst and her dismissive attitude towards my genuine concerns so I replied, "No, no. It's fine, I trust what you said, I just wanted to talk about it and make sure that was normal." She turned around and told me to pay the $95. I did and then she told me I could leave now. I thanked her and walked out with my receipt but I left feeling embarrassed and confused. I wasn't sure if my experience was normal, so I called my father who's worn contacts for 30 years to ask and he told me it was not and to get a second opinion. Since she was the only doctor there and I was terrified of her, I told her that was not possible. He instead suggested I ask her to give me a prescription for my previous prescription, as she had angrily suggested, and that I could reorder contacts with that while I waited to go elsewhere and get a second opinion. I went back and apologetically asked if the prescription could be changed and explained her offer due to the -0.50 difference and they took the paper back to her where she noted down "Alternatively:..." All in all this was the worst experience I have ever had with an eye doctor. Not only was she dismissive, condescending and rude, but she made her patient feel like speaking to her doctor is something one should never do. Please work on finding compassionate doctors who actually care and listen to their patients. Very disappointed.

I scheduled an appointment for contact lenses recipe. Before scheduling I asked them to verify if my insurance (David Vision) could cover my eyes checking. They said yes. When I arrived at the appointed time I was informed that the insurance does not cover the prescription for contact lenses. It was a waste of my time.
