Michael M. Lin, M.D.

Dr. Michael Lin is an awesome Doctor. He has been treating my eye problem for years. He is always very patient and diligent in the way he works. He takes time to explain what is going on, is very kind, and always have a plan of what needs to be done. A very patient Doctor, who always makes sure that you have the correct eye drops, and that they are being used correctly. I would completely recommend him. I pray that he is blessed with a long healthy life, to be able to help more patients.

Dr. Michael Lin at Mass Eye and Ear is second to none. He is cool, he is understanding, and he breaks things down into language that those of us without medical degrees can understand. Run, don't merely walk, to get an appointment with Dr. Lin especially if you are needing glaucoma related care.

Dr Lin is a wonderful Dr and very caring. He takes the time to explain all treatments if necessary. In my case it was just a follow up appointment in which he was concerned with eye pressure. Luckily no treatment was needed. I appreciate that he didn't do unnecessary treatment. He's the best!

I went to Dr. Lin for a second opinion, he was very helpful in reviewing my treatment to date, confirming the basics of my situation and offering some suggestions for modifications to my medications. He sent that information back to my original doctor but said he was also willing to continue to treat be if that was my desire. He pointed out the issue of commute time for follow-up visits, etc. as a practical consideration were I to continue to come to him. He also offered to take phone calls if I had follow-up questions. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Lin and his support staff.

Dr. Lin and his team provide the highest level of glaucoma care. Speaking as one of his patients, I feel that I am receiving the very best care possible for my condition, glaucoma. Dr. Lin is laser focused (literally) on providing top notch clinical and surgical patient care. He seems genuinely interested in the technical details of complex patient cases, which feels reassuring to me. He is a highly skilled doctor, but also very personable and professional. His loyal and helpful assistant is always there to support a stable care environment. Overall from a patient's perspective, I highly recommend Dr. Lin for your glaucoma care. Schedule an appointment sooner rather than later as glaucoma can deteriorate your sight, and there are proactive treatments the doctor may proscribe to save your vision.

My experience with MEEI at 800 Huntington Ave was superb. I was squeezed in during an urgent eye infection. I received superb care from Dr. Michael Lin. He was efficient, explained every step to me..... his exam, the diagnosis and the treatment plan. He answered questions in a personable manner. I already told family and friends about him. He's the best.

A friendly and helpful receptionist, assistants that take time to explain and are professional and kind throughout. Everyone is very knowledgeable. The ophthalmology specialist Dr.Michael Lin comes highly recommended, and takes time to explain, and to listen. I had no questions after this encounter, and came away, feeling calm and trusting , knowing I am in good hands. The follow-up for the exam with scheduling of the surgery was also easy and pleasant. The Eye and Ear Infirmary on Huntington Ave is a very efficient and effective practice. I am also always able to find a place to park though it is WAY too expensive at $17 for a visit! I had very good results with treatment after my diagnosis.
