This clinic has zero respect for patients' time and cannot be trusted to give basic, accurate information. I was personally called by their staff this morning and told my glasses were ready for pickup. I asked very clearly what time they close because I get off work at 4:00 PM. I was told they close at 5:00 PM and was assured there was "plenty of time" for me to come after work. I left work immediately at 4:00 PM and drove 40 minutes in heavy traffic, only to arrive at 4:40 PM and be told, "We are closed." When I explained that I was told they close at 5:00 PM, the response was cold, dismissive, and not a single apology was offered--by the same staff member who gave me the wrong closing time earlier that day. Instead, I was bluntly told, "No, we close at 4." As if my time meant absolutely nothing. This was not a misunderstanding on my part--this was their mistake, and they handled it with arrogance and indifference. If you work, commute, or value your time at all, think twice before dealing with this place. A healthcare business that cannot manage basic communication or show basic courtesy should not be trusted with patients.

No one ever answers the phone. They're scheduled to be there right now and they're not and they give no explanation they're just closed. And the last glasses that I got within the first week the lenses were popping out of the Frame. And I've been patient because I've been here for a long time but your services have declined severely. And the staff act like they're all new none of them know what they're doing. Sad

I am not sure why the reviews are so poor here. We brought our toddler here for an eye exam and got an appt quickly, the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful and the toddler eye doctor was great! Had a drawing area for the kiddos, gave her multiple stickers I would totally recommend this place for kids.

This place used to be good back in like 2013. However every trip after that became a nightmare. Starting off by even being able to speak to someone on the phone. I wish I knew the male that worked doing the glasses fitting he was truly amazing. When he left it was downhill from there. They have terrible hygiene and do not clean chairs after each client or wipe down anything. I sat in a chair right as another client left. It was warm and sweaty, GROSS. Not to mention the long wait and swapping clients in rooms instead of completing treatments. Any suggestions for a new clean place will be so appreciated.

Tried to make 3 appointments for myself and my 2 kids and whoever answered the phone was rude. From the start. Said I was only allowed to make 2 appointments a day. Which I've always made my children's and my own appointments all in the same call. Then proceeded to tell me that if we didn't keep our appointments then they wouldn't allow me to make anymore appointments here. Once I made my children's appointments. She hung up without allowing me to finish asking my questions. I don't know who hires the receptionists here at the roslindale location but I've always had an issues with really disrespectful and rude behavior both on the phone and in person. I think once we're done with our yearly eye exams, I'll be looking other places for next year.

This is not the perfect place to be getting an eye exam if you want to get glasses also. They have all the eyeglasses roped off so you can't go look at them. So you're gonna get an eye exam, then you have to get an appointment to go look at the glasses they have in stock and to purchase eyeglasses. Kind of silly to me there's no one there that can show you the eyeglasses and order them today. When you look at the Google listing, it shows an eyeglass store. You can get your eye exam but you can't order your glasses and Pick them up in a couple weeks. Getting glasses is another project

Now I see why this place has horrible reviews you will wait forever for an appointment. They will lie and say they called you you wont get no call. You're better off going to Boston medical way faster and convenient on getting your prescriptions for your glasses and then you could just go online to buy cheap glasses to get you by because depending on this place you'll be waiting on a whole year the way I did. The fact that I have to give my daughter my appointment because they slack at reaching out to their customers is ridiculous. I plan on taking my family elsewhere for the future.

What doctors forget to tell you, so I will tell you now. So, you hit 70 and join the 10% club for glaucoma. Glaucoma surgery? Up to 50% get cataracts within 5 years. Cataract surgery? Your risk of glaucoma rises 5-10%. Add the "forever" eye drops--beta-blockers, prostaglandins, carbonic anhydrase inhibitors--and you're basically trapped: heart, lungs, kidneys, vision, all on the line. You will end up having lung problems, heart problems, kidney stones and much more. The house always wins. And guess what? You're homeless--stuck in the cycle of surgeries, meds, and specialists. God forbit to change your diet and research natural healing remedies. Keep in mind, when doctors are licensed their priority is keeping their licence, not necessarily keeping the patient satisfied and healthy. Do not harm doesn't mean do benefit. It just mean, give them ineffective medicine and treatments. Have you wondered what you actually sign with ypur electronic signature at any doctors visit? You could be signing your health and your property away. Ask for full disclosure. You have the right to informed consent and informed refusal.
