Dr. Sherleen Chen is an amazing professional who is precise, thoughtful in her work, and thorough in the process of meeting your needs. She listens carefully and is respectful. She efficiently and successfully did my two cataract surgeries. During follow up appointments over the years she has been supportive and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Chen -- she is a kind human being with a lovely smile - no matter how busy she is -- and she is very, very busy.

Over the past 3 years, I've exhausted every possibility in treating my blepharitis to no avail before booking an appointment with Dr. Chen. It took me about 8 months to see her and another 3 hours waiting in the office on the day of my appointment. She's clearly incredibly over booked, but I'm grateful for her help. I'm on a new treatment plan now and we'll see how it plays out over the next month or two. If you just need something routine done, I would not recommend booking an appointment with her at this time, but if you haven't been able to find help anywhere else, it might be worth the wait.

I have had great experiences with several doctors at MEEI in Boston. Dr. Chen is one of them. She is very personable and kind. Most important, I have faith in her knowledge and skills. She explains things very well and listens carefully. I have just scheduled a second cataract surgery with her for my right eye. Dr. Chen did my left eye 12 years ago.
She's certainly worth dealing with the horrendous traffic getting in and out of Boston.
