For more than a decade, Dr. Silas Wang has provided exceptional care for my vision care. Throughout the years, I have always felt confident in the thoroughness of his examinations. Recently Dr Wang performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes, and my eyesight has dramatically improved .I am totally pleased with the results. Before the surgery he took the time to explain the procedure clearly and patiently answered all my questions.. Knowing I have such a reliable and knowledgeable professional overseeing my eye health is a great source of comfort. Dr Wang completed my cataract surgeries recently. My vision is now 20/15 in both eyes for distance - perfect! If I could give more stars I would Dr Wang has been my Dr for many years for my eyes Recently I had cataract surgery he and his team were the outstanding he is thorough professional and he listen's. He calls you after your surgery and he is very caring if anyone needs cataract surgery make your appt he is worth the wait.

For the procedures I had at Mass Eye and Ear, Dr. Wang and his team certainly receives a very large vote of confidence with them. From the Surgical Scheduling to all of the Nurses and Technicians and especially Dr. Wang I received nothing but the highest level of care and very successful results. Their degree of professionalism and follow-up of my procedures is beyond any personal expectations I had. Kudos to them all. Once again for Dr. Wang's patience, kindness and excellent explanations in the many questions I asked.

Following recent cataract surgery on both eyes with excellent final results, I can't say enough good things about Dr. Silas Wang at Mass Eye and Ear. I found him to be an excellent surgeon, very professional, friendly and communicative - definitely among the best!

This was the best medical appointment I've ever experienced! Talk about world class treatment by world class staff. Everyone on the staff was courteous, efficient and extremely professional in their respective tasks, whether it was reception, testing staff, and the folks who guided me from area to area. You can see why people come from around the world to get care at Mass Eye and Ear. My visit with Dr. Wang was just amazing. That may seem a little hyperbolic, but let me explain: 2 different opticians told me that my right cataract was severe and needed immediate surgery; they told me my left eye was a borderline case; surgery was optional. In reality, because of the hard work of the testing staff and Dr. Wang's analysis, Dr. Wang explained that on a 1-4 scale of severity (1=mild, 4=opaque), the cataract in my left eye was barely a "1" and my right eye cataract was roughly ".05"! Dr. Wang recommended I proceed with a regimen to treat my dry eyes, since he suspects that has as much to do with my vision problem as the mild cataracts. So much for the opticians' analysis! I feel like I dodged a bullet, since Dr. Wang explained that cataract surgery was elective at this point, and there's no need to perform surgery if it's elective AND the surgery might not even correct the vision problem.

Dr Wang performed cataract surgery on my eye last month. He was fantastic from my initial consult with him, through the surgery and the last post-op today. Dr Wang explains everything very clearly and patiently. As soon as my retina doctor clears me for another cataract surgery, I will definitely schedule it with Dr Wang. I feel blessed to be a patient of his.
