Austin Family Eye Care

Dr. Austin is the worst eye doctor you can go to. In 2007 he did surgery on my right eye removing a cataract and deliberately put in the wrong lens in my eye. I've never been able to see clear from that eye my vision was worst after the surgery. Over the years I've been told by 3 or more eye doctors that the lens put in my eye was WRONG. Don't trust this doctor to do surgery on your eyes.

When I saw sparks and floaters in my eye and got put on a waiting list for a few months, I didn't take it personally. Mistakes happen. but after an emergency Victorectomy when my eye glasses broke, Costco and the New England Retinal Consultants were sympathetic and tried to help me on the regulatory catch 22 that left me without a perception and without glasses. when I called Austin Family eye care I got nothing but running two to three times a day two normal business days. Today when they called me back they were utterly defensive. They said they took me on "an emergency basis" not for regular eye care (this was an emergency basis that I was on a. Four and a half months wait list for). Use these folks at their peril because no matter how skilled the doctor if you can't SEE the doctor (get it eye joke?) it doesn't matter.

Just had an outstanding experience with the dr. Brought my soon to be 3 year old son there and was absolutely blown away with the way he was with my son. Patient and caring. I will definitely be recommending this place.
