Dr. Nathalie C. Rioux, MD

Although Dr. Natalie Rioux is an excellent doctor, scheduling appointments is a nightmare. I need a visual field test before my annual glaucoma visit. I get the test at my regular eye doctor as Dr. Rioux's office is over an hour away, and I am a lawyer in court 4-5 days a week. I had my test about 4 weeks before my scheduled visit. My visit was scheduled for December 10, and it was canceled at the last minute. It was rescheduled for February 23 (11 weeks later -so almost three months later!), and it was canceled because of the snowstorm. It has been a week, and NO ONE HAS BOTHERED TO CALL TO RESCHEDULE IT! Worse, I called when the office was scheduled to be open (it was NOT!) and left a message asking the office contact me by email to set up a visit as I am in court all the time. To date, no one has contacted me. I called yet again today, and left a phone message. Of course, no one answered. Remember my visual fied test was in early November!!! I called my eye doctor and asked for a referral to another eye doctor who actually reschedules clients. My prior glaucoma doctor was awesome. I NEVER HAD ISSUES WITH HIM SCHEDULING APPOINTMENTS! Dr. Rioux needs a new staff!!!

Dr. Rioux is a wonderful doctor. Very competent, patient, caring, and answers all my questions. She took over my care after my previous ophthalmologist failed to properly treat my glaucoma. All of her staff are professional and friendly. I can't thank her enough.

Dr. Rioux did cataract surgery on both of my eyes. I was happy with the results. However, I called for help twice when I had a problem with my eye, and was refused an appointment both times. It seems that while she is willing to do surgery she isn't willing to help when needed after the surgery.

Very unhelpful and rude receptionist. Kept insisting that I saw a different doctor when I am positive it was Dr. Rioux who did two surgeries on my eyes. That's not something you forget.

Dr Rioux is a fantastic eye specialist. I have been with Dr Rioux for many years. My eyes are doing well, because of her constant care.

I met one, fine, compassionate woman in this office. She works at the front desk, wore a grey uniform, had a pony tail, spoke in a relatively quiet voice, and her name was Ashley.

Dr Rioux is phenomenal in every way. Caring, highly skilled, intelligent, devoted to her profession and patients. She is down to earth and easy to talk to.

Dr. Rioux & her staff were great & very kind. 5 stars well deserved.
