Caring, kind, and efficient. We were ona family vacation when my sister woke up with eye pain. Called and left message on emergency line. Doc Austin came in on off day and treated her quickly and kindly. What a great guy!! So grateful to find a superb eye doctor

Dr. Austin is an excellent, caring eye doctor. The woman at the front desk is why I rated with only 3 stars. I left the practice because of her rudeness and lack of concern for my situation. I was experiencing floaters in my vision and didn't receive a call back. Called again and still no response. Throughout, she had a "I could not care less" attitude. At one point she put on a very bad theatrical performance of faking care. It was done on purpose in a mocking way. I do miss Dr. Austin

I went to Dr. Austin as I had developed eye irritation, redness, and itching. My primary care office had given me drops and recommended I see an ophthalmologist. The one I had seen in the past was unable to fit me in, and they were also unwilling to give me other options (to be put on a cancellation list or make a future appointment ). I called Dr. Austin's office expecting similar results but I was scheduled in for the next day. Dr. Austin was very kind, calm, and personable, he diagnosed and treated the problem that day!

I was suffering from an extremely painful and bloodshot eye. Urgent care found nothing and gave me eye drops. The pain persisted and several days later I called Dr. Austin's office. Two hours later Dr. Austin found and removed an eyelash hidden in the corner of my eye. The pain was instantly gone. He was courteous and sympathetic and competent. I cannot overstate how appreciative I am. Thank you, Doug Richmond
