Thorough, knowledgeable, pleasant exam. Everyone in the office was welcoming and kind. Susan called and offered me an earlier appointment due to a cancellation so I'd have the option of coming in before the snow storm! All in all, a very good experience! Thank you!

Everyone was very friendly. They explained step by step what was being done. The only problem I had was that they should wear masks or offer masks due to a few staff members coughing quite a bit. But other than that I would recommend and I was not waiting long. I'd say they called me in on time

Scheduling was easy. The wait time for my appointment was minimal. All my questions were answered in a manner I understood (no jargon). I felt comfortable when leaving.

I hate to trash a reputable company, however, I got approval for the LASIK procedure after getting a full exam. There were 3 doctors performing different tests on my eyes that day, all of which passed me through. There was so much paper work to read and sign that could potentially dissuade you from the surgery. I should have gone with my gut but trusted this reputable company and the name Nancy Balin that is advertised on the radio. However, Nancy was the doctor doing my procedure. It was advertised as a quick and painless surgery. She started with my right eye, and I realized it wasn't quick. After she got done with that eye, she told me they had made a mistake and there were some epiphelial tissues they did not detect during my evaluation! After being told that, I had no choice but to get the left eye done too, I now have to live with it. Total loss and my number 1 regret EVER!! Some time after the surgery, I called to make an appointment and the receptionist passed my call onto another doctor that was rude to me, knowing who I was. Every appointment after the fact felt like they kept lying to me about my progress because nothing got better and my eyes are damaged. Good Luck!!

I went to Balin Eye Center for the first time yesterday. I was a bit worried because I couldn't get an appointment with Dr. Balin. Instead, I be saw Dr Knots. Well, she was fabulous. Dr Knotts is extremely knowledgeable-EXTREMELY, kind, answers questions, explains things, including scans. I left feeling well taken care of and less worried about my eye. Highly recommend

I moved to Florida from Northampton and Love this practice so much that I wait until the summer when I visit to have my eye exam with Balin. Everyone from the front desk, staff to the doctors and team Are so welcoming and responsive. I always feel well taken care of. My appointment is always on time And I leave their office feeling like I have had a very thorough exam. I would highly recommend this practice for anyone in need of eye care.

I recently moved to Western Massachusetts. Finding primary care and health services to this point had been a nightmare. However, going to Ballen eye and laser center has been amazing. I was able to make an appointment in a reasonable amount of time. The office was efficient and kind. Doctor Knox was very nice and knowledgeable. She was helpful and very pleasant. I highly recommend this Eye Center. Thank you for wonderful service.
