I am incredibly impressed with this place! The staff are friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to get me in so soon and fix my glasses prescription, which I had received from a different place. Thanks to them, I can see clearly now. Overall, I am very happy with the experience and will gladly recommend them to all my family, friends, and coworkers. A special shout out to Doctor Brian moreira-Bouchard , who was friendly, awesome, and took the time to hear me out. I was also very impressed with the optician; he adjusted and straightened my frame perfectly with just one try and got it right immediately."

This office is amazing from the moment you enter to the time you leave. One stop shopping for me with every test, great expertise and knowledge, and great care and service. This office is better than any eye care physicians that I've ever used!

When I first heard about Dr. Ruggiero through a brain injury support group, I was skeptical! But after three rounds of vision therapy, two rounds of MST, prism glasses with medical filters and years of support, my life has gone from being almost on disability due to chronic migraines and panic attacks to living the life of my dreams without migraines or panic attacks, enjoying every day and feeling infinitely grateful for this new life that didn't seem at all possible before! I didn't have the money so I took out a credit card to cover it and I can say even though it took me years to pay it off, it was worth every penny and I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

I initially had a positive experience with Dr Clay. The problem began when I got a quote for my glasses (which are very expensive), I agreed to that quote and paid in full. When I went to pick up my glasses, the same person said there was a balance on my account. He looked and said he could not see why. It has taken MONTHS of communication for me to try and clarify this issue. I need help making phone calls, so had to have people assist me in repeatedly calling/emailing. A front desk person told me today that I was charged for glasses instead of sunglasses. I asked if there could be any sort of forgiveness given that I was given a quote for my glasses which I agreed to and paid in full. Then this surprise bill came (this is why the No Surprises Act went into effect - providers shouldn't be giving surprise bills to patients). She said the issue had been explained to me before. It had NOT. I have an email from about 1 week ago from a front desk person saying I bought sunglasses (I did not). I am extremely frustrated at the surprise bill, the bad communication surrounding it, and that they would not for one moment consider giving a discount based on their mistake. I recommend them if you are very rich. Otherwise, expect surprise charges with lack of compassionate.

I was told that my insurance did not cover their vision thearphy services and was given a bill. I paid it in full and received services only to discover it was not submitted to my insurance at all. After asking several times for them to submit it, they said they don't do that because it's not covered. It became apparent they were not going to submit it and I did self submit it and I was reimbursed. Unfortunately, since it was self submitted I did not text the full reimbursement, but if the office did I would have. I lost about $800 and it should not have happened. Do not believe them when they tell you insurance does not cover a service, make sure they actually submitted it and it was rejected before you pay and begin treatment.

I love that it's easy to get in for an app't and there are also evening hours. The parking is free and next to the office and conveniently located in downtown Northampton . The staff are friendly, efficient and knowledgeable.

Northampton Vision Specialists are professional, friendly, and kind. This is the right place for my Multi Sensory Therapy and now my Eye Convergence Therapy. I am so thankful for all they have provided.

great staff, knowledgeable practitioners. I was impressed. super thorough exam so it takes longer, but this place is really good. Doesnt get much better than optometrist Brian Moreira-Bouchard. He explains so much and has so much helpful info. One suggestion: Ask to find out what "extra services" can be dropped. I ended up paying $110 for stuff my insurance wouldn't cover. I'm not sure all these photos were that necessary.
