what a scam?!!!! made my appointment a month ago, showed up today and was told they don't accept any insurance?! guy tells me every other place I. the area is booked 8 months out, but o can take care of you today if you pay 140 before the exam starts. sure sounds like a scam to me!!!! not happy right now

i told the dr several times in 3 different ways that i am near sighted, and have a hard time seeing clearly at a distance. i had a prescription years ago and needed a new one as i haven't worn glasses in years. he told me i basically had no prescription at all, and i would be fine without glasses. granted i remember my prescription not being super strong, i know for a fact it was something and did something for me. he gave me a prescription for farsightedness and noted i should just get readers. once again, i am not far sighted and i don't need help seeing close up. i unfortunately didn't notice until i got home and did some research on the paperwork i was given. feeling scammed out of nearly $100 that the appt cost because they don't take insurance here- for a prescription that isn't going to help me. i thought it would be worth it to pay because everywhere is booked out nearly a year in advance, and i got my appointment here a couple weeks out from booking. but obviously they aren't booked out far for a reason.

Webpage says they are open 10:00 to 2:00 every day of the week they are not open Sunday and I just traveled 35 mi to come here and they're not there not happy
