Advanced Eye Centers

Never going in this Advanced Eye Center again. My family has gone to this location for 10+ years, but no more . The woman who is the main receptionist is always rude and dismissive. She has never greeted us in any form. She has never said thank you or any sort of pleasantries neither has any other staff. The front office and assistants act aloof and makes many mistakes The front receptionist is very , very, difficult to understand . She speaks with an incredibly heavy accent and I just can't understand her. I've often had my appointment days and times confused because I can't understand what she is saying. The doctors are nice and seem efficient . But no other employee is polite. It's stressful and miserable to go here and I refuse to put myself in a position to be treated so rudely by an office staff, where I am a paying patient , any longer. I'm sure there must be a competent eye doctor in the area with a polite staff. Any place would be an improvement over this Advanced Eye Center.

I just stopped in to see if there was an opening for an eye exam last minute unfortunately my glasses broke and I needed a quick fix.Although I was not able to get an appointment ,the lady that helped me connect with Tina to set up an appointment was super sweet and apologized for the inconvenience and Tina was also super sweet.Bummer I have to wait so long for an appointment but the kindness of those two workers was greatly appreciated and they did all they could to help me out.

The worst front office staff I've ever encountered. Have been a patient there since the 80's. Today's experience just floors me, I had a follow up visit for my cataract surgery that the office made. Today at the appointment I'm told I needed a referral (which I was NOT told at a previous visit) and neither person at the counter would listen to me when I tried to explain I wasn't told I needed a referral. One of them (blonde) actually had the nerve to tell me "it's your job to know your insurance", my reply was "it's your job to tell me i needed a referral for this appointment when you all made the appointment ". And the the other lady stood up and started talking over me and was so rude! I will be looking for another eye doctors office, although I did like my eye Doctor, Mr. Murphy. The front office staff is cruel.

Mistakes were made by them ask for explanation one od the lady told me to shut up unbelievable she so disrespectful I do not think they know what they are doing. Too expensive

First of all if you are medical provider and care for patients including Covid patients steer very clear from this organization. Firstly, they cancelled my appointment and did not call to notify me. They said they did but I checked and they did not. Secondly, I showed up and they said the physician, who btw I like very much and will not name, had a personal issue and could not see me as she was not in. Not a problem. I understand that things happen. It's what happened next that was disturbing. They then offered to set me up with another doctor which I was willing to accept. Unfortunately once they went ahead and screened me for Covid and heard that I care for patients, including of course, some covid patients they asked me to wait in my car. Mind you, I have no signs or symptoms of covid infection and am tested regularly and have been negative throughout. Once in my car after about 15 minutes they called me and stated that their "Covid special room" and physician schedule were too full and I would be waiting for hours. Then the attendant said that they now cannot see me today and requested that I reschedule. After losing half a day of work and revenue from seeing my own patients I was more than upset but respectfully declined. They only had 2 patients in waiting room to be seen and could have certainly squeezed me in especially under the circumstances being they failed to notify me of their cancellation. Advanced Eye Center, seems incapable of caring for anyone who had or may have taken care of any Covid patients which is the majority of Healthcare workers! I declined their offer to reschedule because I dont think I am interested in missing another day of work. Needless to say, I won't be returning. I would certainly understand treating me this way if I had tested positive or currently had symptoms but this was a total dissapontment. Meanwhile I am a Frontline healthcare worker and need glasses to do my job and had to wait months for any appointment anywhere. Now I have to wait until November with another organization. I hope they treat Healthcare workers better. I struggled with sending this review but felt it necessary to warn any of my healthcare colleagues who may be looking for a good eye care center. I recommend looking elsewhere.

I have been a patient of Dr.Marc Wladis for many years and have been happy with his service at both offices. But when I had to cancel my yearly check up due to covid prior to my April appointmentI was told it may be June before I could get another one. I called late June and was told regular patient or not I could not get any appointment until late September. I'm a senior citizen with a expanding cataract issue which it seems doesn't make any difference to them..Have been seeing other Dr's without a problem in scheduling or appointments. Seems Advanced doesnt care and regular patient or not your left out.

Very poor service, rushed exam, I felt like they were trying to kick me out. I had to call them about getting a new pair because I scratched mine up to much and they hung up on me twice before we were done talking! This is ridiculous. Update: called the number that they left in the text for my next appointment, the operator continuously put my back to the automated system before finally putting me on hold forever and never spoke to me

I took my mother in law who lives in a nursing home and has a little dementia. I have to say how patient and yet efficient Kristie was with her. We had a wonderful experience with all of the staff during our visit.
