Once you get past the very dry and emotionless check in experience, the doctor and assistant are wonderful. I was excited to pick out glasses and had a great time with the optical staff. We were all laughing, joking, and overall I'm more than satisfied. I wish they had a better selection of glasses but I was able to find a pair regardless I'd give 5 stars if the front desk would've smiled a little or showed they enjoyed their job even just a tiny bit.

I have visited this establishment many times with my grandmother. She always comes here to get her updated prescription glasses. This past week, I brought her in as I always do. We were among the first customers when the store opened, and we began looking around at the new styles available. Within a few minutes, we were abruptly told to wait in the waiting room because the associate, Teresa, had a meeting she needed to finish. My grandmother and I sat down and waited for her assistance. While we were waiting, another pair of customers came in and went directly to the area we had just been asked to leave. Teresa began assisting them immediately while we continued to wait.After more than 10 minutes, we returned to look at frames and were eventually helped by another employee because Teresa refused to assist us. My grandmother has been a loyal customer here for years, and each time we are treated by Teresa she is very unprofessional and extremely rude. We did not feel like valued customers, but rather an inconvenience.If it had not been for the other associate who stepped in to help us, we would have left and taken our business elsewhere. This experience was very disappointing, and I hope it is addressed so it does not happen to anyone else.

Great doctors! Nice customer service! Kind people, they treated me with love respect and prontitud, beautiful souls! They respected my appointment time, and checked me in prontily! I loved to be seen there! I recommend!

Dr. Prewandowski is the most amazing vision doctor around. I have been with her for almost 2 decades. If you are considering or curious about contact lenses then I highly recommend a visit with her. She will show you how to put them in and take them out. You can obviously keep the pair used and take them home to try them out, FREE of charge. I have very different vision in each eye and hate wearing glasses. She worked with me so that I can continue to see with my contacts. My glasses however are bo-focals. I honestly can't say enough about Dr. Prewandowski and the service she provides. She will ask personal questions about your vision issues and help to resolve them.

Overall, we had a really great experience there when I just brought my teen who has a quite unique prescription. I chose them because you can get your MassHealth prescription and fill it (choose MH approved glasses) at the same location. The only minor slip was that the Optical Shoppe and the doctors dont have connected computer systems so they couldn't see my insurance information (I had only printed a copy of the card and told the front desk to toss it, my fault). The wait time was minimal and everyone seemed to know what they were doing. Having previously worked for an eye doctors for years, I was very satisfied with the way everything was handled. The doctor was kind and friendly, explaining everything.

Went to get frames for my glasses and I will never return again due to teresa being extremely rude and ignorant! By far the worst experience I have ever had while trying to pick new frames out for my glasses! Teresa is thee worst customer service person I have ever dealt with and I will not be back . I prefer to bring my money elsewhere! I would give 0 stars if I could due to teresa attitude!

Went to go buy new frames for my glasses and had an awful experience due to teresa being extremely rude and cocky . I am very disappointed in my experience there because of teresa. I will not be returning and will be looking to get frames somewhere else due to teresa poor attitude and cocky responses! Every single encounter I have had with her there has been awful! This was not the first time I have gone and dealt with Teresa's attitude or cocky responses!

This is now my 2nd review, i cannot recommend this place more highly than i already do. The professionalism of the entire staff, the thoroughness of all parts of the exams, the communication before the appointment was amazing, its always super clean and nicely decorated for the season/holidays, plenty of parking. Reasonable price for out of pocket exam fee, and the exam itself was so thorough i would've gladly paid more than what they charged. They took the time to listen to my concerns and explained what I needed excellently. Looking at the 1 star reviews is pretty confusing/upsetting to me and if that happened to those customers, im truly sorry if you encountered racism, and I hope it is being addressed, but I find it very odd if the associate accused of being racist would be working there for very long as besides Dr. R taking care of me, all of the ladies I saw working the day of my appointment were all very lovely, kind, and professional black women. I would hope they would not be subjected to that kind of work environment, and customers shouldn't have to either. They got me in for an appt super quick, the staff is amazing in all areas of the store, especially the woman who helped me pick my glasses. Super clean office, easy to get to, great parking. My eye dr since 1990 dr. Hunt at eyecare Eyewear finally retired a few years ago. I'm super happy I found this place.
