Dr. Jeremy B. Meltzer, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Meltzer for 10+ years. He is professional, pleasant and a perfectionist. I wouldn't trust my eyes to anyone else. I noticed older posts that mention wait time and less than friendly staff. I have found that over time all of his staff have become more friendly and the wait times are much improved.

My mom has been a patient here for 10 plus years. She was a patient of Jeremy's Father until he retired! That's how much she loves this practice. She always gets taken care in a caring and professional manner and always feels heard and understood by the Provider. I wish they had practices all over the state!

After over ten years of loyalty to Jeremy, my husband requested a return phone call regarding a chronic eyelid lump that he had continued to treat with ineffective medication. He refused to consult with my husband without another office visit. We sought out another, more competent doctor, who treated the condition with a simple 20 minute procedure and it has cured the condition. My 90 yr old mother went to him for continuing treatment, after relocating to New England, made it clear she was not looking for a lot of new tests, just maintenance, he completely ignored her wishes and tried to plead his case to me. It was that situation that led me back to the same doctor that cured my husband. Although Meltzer's office was much more convenient, we all agreed we would never set foot in his office, again, and would be switching for good. Meltzer seems to be only interested in keeping his patients on the hook for services he continues to get paid for.

My experience has been pleasurable with Dr. Meltzer. He is kind and caring and more concerned with patient care. My eye surgery was quick and painless and he literally saved me thousands of dollars from a previous quote. It is a very busy office with a significant number of professional and administrative staff. Although quite busy, their care is thorough (underlined). I am particularly impressed with their ability to speak several languages to assist their patients. Dr. Meltzer's patient philosophy is quality of care first. If you are looking for a first or second opinion, I suggest Dr. Jeremy Meltzer.

Dr. Meltzer operated on my eye for cataract removal, and from beginning to end, with his excellent staff, I was treated with kindness and patience. Their professionalism was perfect, and I had clear and brilliant vision the day after surgery. Dr. Meltzer inspires confidence, and performs accordingly.

I may have to wait, but Dr Meltzer always takes the time to explain my plan of care. He takes the time with his patients and is wonderful. His staff is also very pleasant and co-opetative.

My mother has cataracts in both eyesand she has a transportation van through Mass health. My mother was brought to the wrong location and when she tried to reschedule he rudely blamed her after she told him what happened and dropped her as a patient. I am going further than this review this doctor cares about money and not his patients!!!!

I was totally satisfied with Doctor Meltzer in all aspects. His personality, warm and reassuring, his skill in performing my surgery and I would highly recommend him.
