L.O. Eye Care Charlotte Location

This place takes WAY too long. I've never had to have so many appointments for 3 people to get updated prescriptions and a new contact exam. When our contacts came in, we didn't even get a call, stopped in on a random day and thankfully they were there, but then still had to make yet another appointment for a contact fitting, then ANOTHER appointment for a recheck. Let me guess, there's going to another as well. Didn't print off the correct prescription for my husband, had to go back literally spend 20 minutes for it be printed. Oh but they have to try and sell you their prices too, not interested, Sam's club is cheaper. And they're the only place that requires masks, really? You're suppose to practice medicinal science and I'm supposed to trust you're up to date with medical practices and you're still virtue signaling? Lost a whole family of paying customers (as you see us) EDIT 4/5/23 : upon once again NOT getting a call that the second pair of trial contacts were in (this was about two weeks ago), here we are trying to figure out what brand of contacts this second trial pair is. Unfortunately the boxes were discarded, but why 1. isn't the office open, on all posted hours they SHOULD be open, 2. the corporate offices can't even see that there are 2 trial pairs. Absolutely unbelievable how this place runs a business.

Very pleasant, and most importantly, thorough and professional. More indepth/detailed tests than I've ever had in the past, until such time as he was satisfied any/all "potential" issues I either presently had, or could develope with my eyes, had been addressed. Very satisfied with my exam!

This was my daughters first eye appt and Dr. Budge barely spoke to her and didn't tell her what he was doing before he did anything. She was very uncomfortable as he seems to struggle with communication and there would be silence for long long periods. Then he informed her that she either had make up or metal in her eye and that she needed to go to a different office to see another eye doctor today. He freaked her out and offered no words of comfort or trying to make her feel better. Not to mention how crazy it is to say make up or metal...not similar. I do want to say that if I were reviewing all of the other staff in the office the review would have been 5 stars!!! They were awesome and very personable and helpful.

Great appointment, any questions asked were answered. Was very complete on all procedures. Took time to talk about wants and needs with my glasses and contacts. Very professional. Others in office were helpful and very professional.

I am extremely pleased with L O Eye Care, Charlotte. The staff was kind and knowledgeable. The doctor and Tim were very throrough. I felt that they cared about my eyesight. They answered my questions and made positive recommendations. I highly recomment L O Eye Care, Charlotte.

I felt like both the doctor & tech assistant took their time & were thorough, but also quick & efficient. I was very pleased with this visit.

I have visited this location one time for my 4 yr old son. My appointment time was moved to give us more time. It turned out to be over two hours between wait time and unpreparedness. The staff was friendly, but they seemed lost when working with my son. The technician was visibly frustrated and her lack of patience made him uncomfortable. The optometrist acted overworked and seemed unsure about the prescription that she wrote. When my son complained that the dilating solution hurt, she ignored him and never completed the exam...but she still issued the prescription! And then she told me that would need to follow up with a new exam in 3 months. I never used that prescription. I have had to find a new eye doc for my son, and I will never go back to L.O. Eye Care in Charlotte. Since going, I have heard other stories from parents that were similar to mine. This office and staff should not be scheduling children for service, in my opinion.

the staff was very helpful, I was seen quickly , the doctor was very thorough .and I feel that he made sure that my health was his highest attention.
