I cannot say enough amazing things about David Smith at Sam's Club Optical! From the moment I walked in, he treated me with genuine kindness, professionalism, and patience that is so rare to find these days.
David took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions (without rushing me), and made sure I felt completely comfortable and confident in my choices. His knowledge and attention to detail are unmatched. You can truly tell he cares about his patients and takes pride in what he does.
What stood out most was his PATIENCE. He made the entire experience stress-free and actually enjoyable. I never felt pressured, dismissed, or hurried. He went above and beyond to ensure I left happy.
If you're considering Sam's Club Optical, do yourself a favor and ask for David Smith. Customer service like this deserves to be recognized. Thank you for making what could have been a routine visit into such a positive experience!

If I could give 1,000 stars i would. The staff Is amazing. Leann, Shawn and Terah helped me out so much, I narrowed my.many options of frames down to 2 with their recommendations for my high lens script and i purchased both pairs. Dr. Smith was beyond thorough and very professional. He was so kind and went above and beyond ensuring that I received the best care possible for my eyes. Thank you all so much! Thank you to the lady who works Sundays for saving the day! I had my only pair of prescription sunglasses drop a screw on me and I need them to work so I don't get a migraine. This is the only optical place in the area that's open on Sunday. She not only put a new screw in for me she also adjusted them so they wouldn't slide down my face. I appreciate her taking the time out of her day to help me and doing it with a smile on her face

Twice in the past 2 weeks the young lady working the optical department desk has waited on me, and next time I see her I will turn around and walk out before dealing with her again. I wish I would have caught her name, I would call the store manager to complain. She acts as though it PAINS her to help someone. Extremely unfriendly, with a chip on her shoulder and completely uncooperative. Two weeks ago when picking up a set of trial contacts, since the ones I ordered were on backorder (twice!), she was busy shuffling around the drawers that each customer has with their glasses/contacts/names on, raised her head to look at me, then completely ignored the fact that I was waiting. She just continued on shuffling her little drawers for another 3-4 minutes. I've worked retail, and the first rule is you put the customer in front of you first. You don't busy yourself with work that can wait, while the customer in the store just stands there. Last night when I went to pick up the contacts that had finally come in, again, completely unfriendly and almost hateful. Sam's Club should do better than this!!

Dr. Smith was excellent! He helped explain exactly what was going on with my eyes and what to do to help improve my issues!! I've seen two other doctors for the same issue and he's the first to actually tell me what the problem was and how to fix it! Very grateful! The staff was also kind and helpful! Definitely recommend!

DO NOT recommend!! The constant delay in service regarding the glasses I ordered, was an error on their part. The lack of communication shows they do not care or respect their customers. Very disappointed in this optical department. I have been a loyal customer to this Sams Club since they opened.
