This team's thoroughness and expertise resulted in a vastly improved progressive prescription. I no longer have to switch to readers to focus my camera, and mid-range and long-range objects are also much crisper. As a bonus, my new frames fit better and cost less.

I saw a glaucoma specialist for many years, even thoughI had been unhappy with the office. the Doctor, a specialist in glaucoma, was brilliant. the biggest problem there was his staff and the inability to understand their broken English--it led to too much confusion and misunderstandings- They moved very fast. Once I moved to Grand Rapids ophthalmology for my second cataract surgery. I saw Dr. marcus MUALLEM. He did my second cataract surgery and the experience was 1000% better. I had no bad after effects and my vision improved drastically. He saw me for my follow up the next day and everything seemed to be healing. at that time I made an appointment for the YAG (sp?) procedure from first cataract surgery that I had done from my previous glaucoma specialist. I saw Dr. MUALLEM today to have that procedure done. It was a piece of cake, a walk in the park. He's very kind, gentle and friendly.. His staff are amazingly out of this world and I could not be happier with the Care treatment Kindness offered to me.

I had an appointment at their dry eye clinic. I had the most thorough and comprehensive exam. The overall visit was wonderful. You can tell everybody working there really enjoys it too. I came away with samples of eye drops and medication to treat my extreme dry eye condition. I started feeling relief the next day.

The doctors are great, the nurses are great, the receptionist with the short hair is snarky and rude. Disrespectful for people who arrive early for their appointment, acts as if the patient should know how everything works without her having to explain. Does not create a welcoming and calm environment. Acted annoyed with patients. Then was jolly and joking with coworkers. Go some where else.

Eta: Now they have the audacity to try and get another $200 from me. They're not getting another cent from me, this is absolutely ridiculous. I had an appointment for my child yesterday and due to an accident on the freeway between myself and the destination I knew I was going to be late for the appointment. I dutifully called to the office to notify them of that and was told that it should be fine, they would contact the receptionist at the office we were heading to to let them know and they have a 15 minute grace period so it shouldn't be an issue. I got to the office as quickly as I safely could and made it at 4:35 which was 15 minutes after the appointment but still within the stated grace period. When I got to the desk the receptionist informed me that the doctor had already left for the day and there was no one there to see my son despite my best efforts to get him there including notifying them I would be late and I was on the way. Considering the fact that the receptionist was more than prepared to tell me too bad it shows me that they never had any intention to see my son. This practice is a disgrace. This isn't the first issue I have had with them giving incorrect information with their office staff but it will certainly be the last.

Mitchell was so kind patient and thorough She explained what she was doing along the way. The ladies at the reception desk were very kind and helpful too.
