The LASIK Vision Institute

I experianced a very disappointing experience with this LASIK office. I received an excessive amout of phone calls, texts, and spam-style emails encouraging me to schedule the surgery the day of the consultation, I contemplated the idea. However, after discussing times (I was told a different time the day before)I was not able to orginize post surgery transportation. As a reaction to not being able to schedule the surgery after the scheduled CONSULTSATION; I was informed they would not honor the appointment. The communication felt pushy and excessive leading up to the visit, yet completely and utterly disorganized. I conveyed the same information to not less than four different people. Considering these folks are tasked with inserting lasers in and around the eye, I found this troubling. Moreover, It's incredibly frustrating to rearrange your schedule only to be told your appointment won't be honored--the day before. This experience felt unprofessional and poorly managed. I would not recommend this office based on how they handle scheduling and patient communication. I absolutely understand this is a business. However; considering they're charging you roughly $100.00 per minute for their services, a little more patient consideration may invoke some confidence.

The whole process was simple and awesome. The staff are phenomenal and I woukd highly recommend anyone wanting better vision. I had glasses for two decades and I no longer need them. I can see clearly now. Surgery took about 15 minutes for both eyes and the staff distracts you from the procedure so you don't get stressed. Thank you so much. A++++

The Grand Rapids team was absolutely phenomenal! From my very first visit to the procedure itself and the aftercare checkup, everything was seamless and positive. They answered every single question, helped calm my nerves, and talked me through the entire process step by step. I felt so comfortable and well cared for the whole time. I would 100% recommend this amazing team--thank you all so much!

I was so nervous to get LASIK! The LASIK Vision Institute eased my fears and were all so kind and informative. The procedure itself was incredibly fast and not near as bad as I thought it would be. I had a lot of nerves going in and it really wasn't warranted! The first evening after the procedure was the most annoying. But even that only lasted 4 hours before I could use my eyes again. Healing is super fast and I can now see 20/15. LASIK is worth it!

The people were very friendly. It was fast and on time. The end result has yet to be seen. I am only 4 days into my recovery but the claim is that things are going great by the doctor. I would recommend this for those that can. The only part that was not enjoyable was the moments right after surgery. The itching and burning was worse than I thought, but that is normal.

The LASIK Vision Institute staff was thorough and professional every step of the way. The procedure is not fun, but it's quick. Followed the protocol and instructions. Slept great. Had a follow up the morning after (about 18 hours after procedure) and already seeing 20/15. Flawless process.

I was able to come in with a free consultation and get a scheduled surgery almost instantly right after. Prep to surgery was explained simply and then surgery day was awesome definitely have a ride haha. But post op felt normal to what was explaining and following the instructions given I was able to come back in and see clearer then I have ever in my whole life. Definitely amazing stuff!
