loved my visit here! Everyone was so friendly and the location is very. Easy to find and they had so many things available! Not only do they have the places where you can pick out the classes. They also have full optial appointments with the prettiest doctors. This large facility has everything you need for all of your eye bals needs! Dr Reed and the staff are pleasant and efficient. Dr Reed in particular is very thorough, and explains things well. He also happens to be very understanding and has a great sense of humor. Last month I mistakenly submitted a negative post to Shoreline that was intended for a man over at ENT. I'll leave it at that so as not to get myself into trouble.

The worst experience I've ever had at any medical apt. First I had to wait nearly an hour after my apt time to be seen. Then I had a tech, not the eye doctor provide my exam. They used no imaging instrumentation. Think nothing has changed for them technology wise in 20 years. I asked that nothing be done to affect my vision as I had to drive and work after the apt. They added several different drops that one burned my eyes so badly I could barely open them and two affected my vision to the point I got a migraine. I had to call for an uber to even get home. They completely disrespected my boundaries and ignored my requests. The actual eye doctor came in and only provided an eye exam nothing for vision. Zero concern when I stated my eyes were burning. Then to top everything my prescription was completely wrong. Not only did they confuse which eye was worse they tried to drastically change the script to a level much higher then I could stand. Again no attempt to recheck after I stated how off their assessment was. A complete waste of my once a year insurance covered apt. I had to go back to my now out of state office just to get appropriate contacts. I would never go back.

I'm trying to help my 94 yr old neighbor by ordering audio books from MADL. I called this morning asking them to sign a paper so she could start getting her audio books. They found her records and told me to come right in and they'd sign them. I drive there and now they say her other optometrist isn't there and even though she is legally blind they wouldn't sign it without an appointment. Her sight is not coming back! We're not asking much, just a signature so she can listen to books in her apartment. Very upset at this business. I've called for 2 days and left messages for the office manager and nobody seems to have the time to return my call.

I see Dr. Barron he's always seems to be in a hurry, one hand on the door ready to get out of the room. Spends 5 mins tops with you after you wait 10-15 min for him! Don't seem like he wants to answer your questions, nurse said well he's busy I'll answer them for you after he left,I said no thanks never mind! Shoreline Vision getting too Big for Muskegon, its get to be a Monopoly just like Trinity Hospital!

Went in for a preventative care eye appointment. Fast forward a couple months and I got a bill for 280 dollars because my visit was coded as medical. I feel like this place is shady with their billing practices. Avoid this place or at least ask up front how it will be billed, especially if they are taking a photo of your eye. The majority of people are not well versed in the minutiae of insurance billing and not making a customer aware prior to a visit or a procedure seems unethical. This is the first bad review I have ever left and not really my speed, but hopefully it helps someone avoid an unexpected bill.

We called to switch from our optometrist to an opthalmologist. Sarah answered our call and was so condescending and rude. I'm disappointed. I was so excited to switch our family here.

Had my children scheduled for an appointment and called to cancel due to conflicting schedule. Was argued with. Get another appointment reminder for the SAME day I called and canceled already. Call again and am told I'm lying they don't just schedule appointments, but CLEARLY they do as the appointment they rescheduled both children again is a day that doesn't work. I say I don't know if you have the right patient because I did not schedule this appointment. The ladies condescending tone and talking over me saying thank you, thank you. Do I finally say you know you can just take BOTH my children off your scheduling and I'll take them elsewhere. Thank you, thank you is what she just kept saying. I will be telling people about this situation. Word of mouth is what gives business and shoreline vision SUCKS.
