I love the staff at Dr Bulusu office..always friendly. I cannot say enough about Dr Bulusu. She is very soft spoken, very talented and a skillfull Opthalmologist. I went to someone else and was told I have macular degeneration ( new diagnosis) and told me they would see me in a year. I made an appt with Dr Bulusu for a second opinion, and she confirmed the dx. But she follows me every 6 months and if I have a problem before then, I call, and an appt is scheduled that day or the following day. Recently I scratched my cornea, called the office immediately. I was told to try putting some eyedrops in to see if that helped, If it didn't to call back in an hour. It was already late in the day, but I called back as the drops didn't help. I was given an appt despite it being a already extremely busy day, as I found out that Dr Rickel has left the practice. Dr Bulusu still had me come in so she could see me..she was exceptional as always..examined my eye, explained everything, sent in a script, and i was on my way..I cannot praise Dr Bulusu and her staff enough for being the excellent, caring, and compassionate human beings they are. Thank you Dr Bulusu...so glad you are my Opthalmologist...

I was very satisfied with my experience with the staff and the Dr. Everyone was so friendly and if I had questions they were answered in a way that I understood completely. I will be recommending Dr.Bulusu to everyone. Thank you for a wonderful experience. I feel the same as I did on my first visit. Everyone is absolutely wonderful. I recommend Dr. Bulusu to anyone who has eye problems. She is the best!!!

This office does not offer a patient portal, a way to download your prescription or get it digitally in any way. They do paper charts and mess up my contact lense prescription 3 times!!! Requiring me to drive the 15 min there and back 3 separate times because of this. The process of trying to even get fit for new contacts was terrible. The first set of trial lenses never came and they never called me to inform me or check in on why they hadn't come. The second set of trials were never even ordered as there seemed to be some miscommunication between the doctor staff and the contact/eye glass staff. And that's likely because they have to write a hand written note delivered by carrier pigeon. If you're going to chose to serve your patients this way, you should make sure it doesn't inhibit your ability to do the best you can for them, and that is definitely the case here. Furthermore, not a single person apologized for the incredibly inconvenience of the 3 trips I was required to make because of their errors. Please chose a place that understands how to serve their patience and it is NOT this place.

Everyone is extremely knowledgeable of their positions at work. The eye Dr.s are experts at what they do. They've saved thousands of patients eye sites. You can be sure you are going to the very best Dr.s at Eye Care Specialist.

Dr. Rickel is very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I received a very thorough eye exam. The optical staff were very helpful in helping me pick out glasses, etc. I would highly recommend Eye Care Specialists of Michigan!
